We went to the Therme Oberstdorf at a weekday in May. Having been at a lot of thermal spas, we had a certain mindset. Unfortunately this was totally out of this world. Old, run down, boring, not adequate for an alpine resort like Oberstdorf.
Possibly a little expensive if you're not making full use of all the facilities, but even so, great fun and very clean.
Offers swim areas for all age groups that will keep everyone entertained for hours on end

A day in the sauna zone, which is also frequented by the locals. It's a bit old, but nonetheless charming. Good saunas and the open air pool is a treat. The hamam scrub (25 minutes) and aroma massage with Doreen was superb!
