I join the speed of the group and try to respond to the wishes of the guests, because you can't explain everything in 90 minutes.

My kids and I climbed up the tower and looked out over the city — it’s a great tower to explore. Each person needs to put a Euro in the slot, which is located to the far right of the gate (we didn’t see the coin slot at first, so thought it was closed). You walk through the parking lot and by the reception of the nice hotel to get there.

Thanks to TA we found out about the tower. The entrance is not so obvious because you have to cross the car park of the neighbouring hotel. See my photo - I have marked where to go. The turnstiles worked when we were there in October 2019 without needing a coin. Just be careful to turn the right turnstile backwards (clockwise) as far as it will go, and then go through on the right side. See my second marked-up photo. Anyway, it is an easy climb up and there are good views! If you found my review helpful I would appreciate your vote.

This is not far from the Kornmarkt. From the Kornmarkt go north on Schmalestrasse, turn left on Steinholzstrasse. Go two blocks to Wallstrasse and turn left. You enter at a stone gate to the Schloss Holte, 93 Walstrasse, go about 100m and the entrance to the tower is on your left. Climb up a few stairs to pay (be sure you have a one euro coin per person). Insert the coin and push the turnstile. The climb is not difficult, perhaps 10 flights of stairs. The views over the city are wonderful and the tower itself is very pretty.

Really great views of Quedlinburg from the top, but I thought the whole thing was really neat. Early morning or evening would have made this even better, but it was great in the middle of the day. I had read on some website that it was closed, but we tried anyway. It was definitely open. It looks like it is on a hotel's property, but you can access it. Bring 1€ coins to get in.

It seems to be a secret tip. We asked people how to get there, but no-one knew. Finally we found it, it’s close to a hotel. You need a One-Euro-Coin otherwise the gate wouldn’t open. What can I say? Just go there and enjoy the views.
