Lovely wines - very picturesque site. Our last stop of our 3 wine tastings. We found this one very homey and down to earth.

Perhaps it was because it was the end of the day, but the young man had no interest in talking to us about the different wines and the wine making process. He was much more interested in the young woman from australia. It is a shame because we probably would have purchased something. I found a couple of wines intriguing, but remember to set your expectations low. This is not Bordeaux or Napa Valley.

We loved this island offering several wineries to sample. du Mitan had a tasty late harvest white, full of peachy notes and long legs. Their 2006 red was almost bone dry, light with some oak notes. Their 2005 vertical was un-inspiring. But this far north, its not atypical. The staff was friendly but seemed to be reading off well intentioned quotes- "this red would be good with meats and this white with pasta or fish." They would improve astronomically by simply tasting their product. Still my host today was a charmer and very funny. For one of the smaller wineries, du Mitan had great views of the vines and the water. Bottom line. . . I had a good time at anytime I sip wine.

We stopped at this winery as part of a tour at the end of September. The vineyard and the views were beautiful. Grapes were still on the vines. The tour included a tasting of several different wines including an ice wine. The hostess was bilingual and had a great sense of humor. We bought a white wine and a small (50ml I believe) bottle of the ice wine. Overall the winery was a pleasant experience.

We tasted some delicious wines. The hostess was knowledgeable and bilingual. We bought a complex, delectable red called Le Rigolet for a very reasonable price. A very pleasant experience!

Upon our arrival, my mother, a friend and I were presented with a card that displayed the wines of this vineyard. We tasted a nice variety of wines (from reds, whites and eleven dessert wines) while the friendly hosts carefully explained their products. I guess we liked what we tasted because we left with a box full of wine! Beautifully decorated and the exterior has many photo possibilities.

I'm never been a big fan of wine but I still enjoy the occasional glass and sampling. I enjoyed being here with great views and enjoying the different samples. I was particular towards the ice wine and would have it again in the future.

The people that work here were so pleasant and welcoming. We stopped for lunch on our bike ride around the island. One of the highlights of our trip.

This was a lovely stop on our food tour of the island. The woman who served us the wine was so nice, informative and fun. The ice wine sample is definitely worth the little extra money - it had such a unique flavour. We ended up buying a bottle of their white wine which was very tasty. This property also has the idlest standing house on the island!

After picking up delicious fruit, chocolate, cheese, sausage and baguettes, stopped here for wine tasting. For a small fee, we were able to enjoy our picnic with our wine on the porch with a beautiful view. Staff was so friendly and welcoming.
