We were able to visit during a side trip to Goslar. The Church is very imposing from the outside. The older parts had Romanesque styling. Inside was incredibly beautiful. Luckily no service so we could freely take photos. There are a series of new stained glass which are extremely nice. The pulpit is especially impressive with its intricate carvings and... More

The church is nice however climb the bell tower. There are sturdy wooden steps leading up to a great very. At the end of the climb is a ladder to the top but you can get the same view from the level below. Worth the time and effort.

Great location in the Market square of Goslar. The church is fascinating and if you can - pay the 2.5 euros to climb up the bell tower. Each step is numbers and the last step before landing at the highest point visitors could go was #218. There are a few more steps leading even higher but the latch was locked.... More

This church at the market square caught our eyes when we entered the market square. The church is not eleborately decorated but very nice.

This church is located at the back of the market square. The church itself is overall basic but it has a very ornate pulpit and an alter. The main aspect of it is the facility to climb up to the top of the left side steeple for the most magnificent 360 degrees panoramic view. You'll climb 322 steps with a... More

The view from the Bell Tower is perfect. If you are able to go up 231 steps, it worth it. Also, the clock mechanism can be seen from the staircase.

This church, which is adjacent to the market place, is an interesting church. The twin west towers which are different from each other which suggests a certain eccentricity. It contains a collection of medieval glass although this is no longer in a window but in a separate display in the north aisle. The pulpit is really great with some excellent... More

The images talk by themselves. It's a Lutheran church, from the 11 century, located in the center of the city surrounded by the market plaza. You need to climb a very steep stairway to reach the bell's tower and take a good view of the city. Take care with the clock to don't be surprised by the bell ringing just... More

It is the central church of Goslar, which is located in the centre of the town near Market Square. It's quite old and attractive with medieval stained glass windows. If you want to get a panoramic view of Goslar, you can climb the stairs in the North Steeple to the top of the church. It's not difficult and the view... More
