Worth a look inside this beautiful church. Free to enter. There are info leaflets in German, English and French. Very peaceful if you get the right time - I pretty much had it to myself. Also check out the quiet park on the lake-side side of the church - a lovely place to sit and admire the view.

We were the only visitors to this striking baroque church aptly named the Schloss Church as it's situated next to what looks like an inhabited chateau. It was open and surprisingly peaceful inside. There are some intriguing statues in the grounds - was that a modernist take on an angel in front? Well worth a look.

Located on the eastern end of the History Trail (Geschichtspfad) is the Schlosskirche. When walking along the lakeside promenade after you passed “Graf Zeppelin Haus”, and continue for another few hundred meters you reach the “Schlosskirche”.

It is the first place (besides the Zeppelin museum) that offers information in English and French. Only leaflets though, but at least…

Located at the far hand the bay at Friedrieshaven, very beautiful now protestant church that had been an Abbey. Just behind the church you can get beautiful views of Bodensee. The walk to this point by going along the harbour and beaches is a romantic round to do at the end of the day with the Sunset.

At the western end of the bay of Friedrichshafen you will find this baroque church with its
2 onion towers with an altitude of 54,9 meters. It is a landmark of Friedrichshafen and is part of the castle of Friedrichshafen which is in private possession of the House of Wurttemberg. so you can enter only the church but not the castle.

Attached to Dukes of Würtemburg residence. Very old, great history.
Now protestant church had been an Abbey.
Just behind the church you can get to the castle harbour which has beautiful views of Lake Constance (Bodensee) and the Swiss Alps

The twin towers can be seen for all aspects of the lake front but is a short walk away from the lake, but well worth the trip. Beautiful interior, one of the most stunning churches in the area.

When you go around this city, take a good walk along the lake, so relaxing, comfortable flat shoes will do. The churh itself isn't a big one, we like the architectural part of it, the ceiling is beautiful. Seeing for outside It is so high, stand solid, beautiful wooden door. It was only a-20m visit.
In addition if you love wine, right next to it, there's winethek. Must check the opening hours, because it was closed when we were there. Very interesting the design outside. + huge garden on the left side.
