(English version below) War als Konstanzer das erste mal im Kletterpark und sehr positiv überrascht. Der Park ist mit bis zu 28m Höhe Europaweit auf Platz 1, hat aber für die nicht ganz so Höhen-sicheren unter uns zahlreiche andere Parcours, von dem Geschicklichkeitsparcour, über den Fitnessparcour hin zu dem mit den meisten Seilrutschen. Das Angebot rund um den Kletterpark wurde bereits ausführlich beschrieben. Der Weg hin zum Park kann manchmal etwas schwierig sein, da nicht viel ausgeschildert ist, Google Maps ist in dem Fall Freund und Helfer. Ps: ist auch ne tolle Erfahrung für Paare, da man sehr aufeinander angewiesen ist. ---- being a local I first came to this park yesterday and was blown away by its vast variety of parcours, hights and levels of difficulty. Max hight is around 28m but I am sure most of us will suffice the 18m (if after all). There's different parcours for every kind of heights sought, and difficulties wanted, with guides that are fluent in english (we had a guide from Canada). Bit difficult to reach the park, we used google maps (make sure to put the whole thing, otherwise it sends you to the flower-island Mainau that is close by... I definitely would not regret in joining it although I hurt myself quite a lot with bruises and muscle pain after it. It is a place for you to step out your comfort zone and challenge yourself, good for kids and youngsters!

Great garden, located on island connected by the city by bus line, or can take a cruise boat. Price reasonable and on a sunny day can take 4 hours to wander around. Has several resturants on the premise including an ATM.

We choose the right time to visit this wonderful place at the springtime and here in the island of flowers everything blooms in many colors. Inside there is an amazing butterfly house with many many of them. I'd stay there for days.

Allow minimum of 3 hours to visit the gardens, and have a leisurely stroll around the Island. Coffee and meals available on the Island. The dahlia gardens and vertical gardens are spectacular and a credit to the gardeners. Would go again. Can get a ferry to and from meersburg to the Island. also accessible by bus #4 from Konstanz). Bus takes you to the entrance to the island. Car parking available, but must pay. No bikes allowed on island. entrance fees are expensive, particularly for a family outing.…
