On one of the few wetter days we had on holiday we went to Konstanz on the very short ferry ride from Meersburg over to see the Sea Life centre. We'd been last year and the kids really enjoyed it. We waited over an hour to get in despite having prepaid tickets but there is a park next to the... More

It's nicely laid out so you can walk through in a nice flow, not missing anything out. A few of the tanks are lovely, but the majority are overcrowded. The turtles are too big for the size of the aquarium they're in...yes yes maybe they ahere to guidelines etc. but it's clear to see they are too big and in... More

We decided to visit the place, since the weather wasn't allowing outdoor activity in the area with 2 boys 3 and 6. So we parked our car near the place (paid parking) and discovered that there is a half hour line to enter (at 11am in the middle of a week) which is was only getting bigger. At that point... More

We had a really good time at Sea Life in Konstanz, the Penguins were really cool and seemed to be having lots of fun swimming around and diving in and out of the water. And the turtles were amazing to see, one was extremely large and was incredible. Very informative and friendly staff

During the rainy day we decided to see the Sea Life. Great place for families. I was not expecting much and at the end I was positively surprised. Very nicely built and designed. It is not huge (30-40 minutes walking). There is a restaurant at the end and a nice gift shop. Pleasant place to visit during a rainy day.

It was a nice activity in a rainy day... Includes a section and lots of facts about octopus. Kids enjoy the colorful fish.

For kids, this is a perfect to visit. You won't be worried about them getting lost. Because you have to follow along the path from the entrance to the exit. The pathway is really small so no way that your kid will get lost.

The effort and look of the information provided and the decorations around the fishtanks save it from a poor rating. On that side they care for the details, and all is in two languages (German and English). On the other side when you compare this aquarium to other ones around the world, this one falls in the lowest tier. It... More

Beautiful aquarium covering the different kinds of fish on their way from a little streams in the Alps to the North Sea. In addition penguins and octopus. Friendly staff. Quite busy, but we didn't have to queue long. (week day, afternoon) Highlight: penguins breeding.
