We arrived to the Rockhal like 2 hours before the gig - so we decided to check-out the mall nearby - Belval Plaza - this is what we found: - shops some of the known brands have their shop here, so if you feel like shopping I'm sure you can do that too. - interesting thing there was an art exhibition on the first floor during our visit but we did not check if it was permanent or temporary - did not have the time, just noticed that it was there. - eateries - some brasseries but also genuine restaurants on the the 1st floor and not only. - we sat down at a small cafe and had a sandwich and a coffee before the gig and it was very nice - no issue paying with Mastercard so if you don't carry cash it can be a good option. - getting there you can do it by car and you park it - don't know the prices/hour for parking but for sure you can find out. Or by train - there is a walkway from the station to the mall. The average grade - because I think is kind of small and you can pretty much cover it in 1-2 hours if you go for shopping. Quite a few of the units are still empty, will be better when they attract more of a variety. Shops offer 3 hour parking but once your ticket is validated get back to your car or you’ll have to pay!

Went here today. I had trouble finding where to park. Lots of road works and for a visitor very difficult to find. I ended up parking in the station area and having to pay €0.60 per hour not a huge amount but it is supposed to be three hours of free parking. I eventually went from the station to the Plaza, no signs. I walked out in the rain only to discover later that there is a covered walkway! Thursday afternoon and loads of teenagers around. Quite a few empty shops. No map inside the plaza. Only stayed an hour. Don’t think I will bother going again. The only interesting thing is the old steel works being used as a back drop.…

This place is in the heart of belval right by the rockhal and university of Luxembourg. Nice shop and little cafes- good to walk around especially if it was rainy or cold.

This shopping center exists since many years, unfortunately it has quite a high turnover of shops. It looks like recently it starts to improve, and the quality of the shops is getting better. The SATURN is great, and there are more and more shops that are being added which have products you might not get elsewhere. The rating reflects the improvements made since early 2016.…
