Overall nice big space for the animals. The children had fun. You can see the the animals really well. Try not bring pram unless you think you need it, you can pretty much hop in to the transport that available in the zoo. I think you might might need to pay extra? Negative is that anyone who is above 3 feet tall will have to pay adult entrance fee which I think it is totally wrong. I had to pay adult rate for 7 year old boy due to being above 3 feet tall. Entrance fee base of height even though they have separate section for children and adult which is really confusing. Also in the information pamphlet it is written that children who is under 12 years need to be supervise with adult (please explain). Please change your payment category on height. You can bring drinks but needs to be in the container or flask. Don’t bring bottle drinks from the shop you cannot bring them inside and no food. If you can eat before you come it would save you some money or leave in the car and have it later. Food and drink is expensive .. depends what you buy ?? I had to pay P450 4x packet biscuit which is overprice but didn’t have choice since I have to feed two hungry little children. .. oops sorry 1 x small adults and 1 x child. Great zoo besides the entrance fee of children paying adult rate just because they are above 3 feet tall they are consider as adult.

This place has very healthy animals & great environments in the enclosures. Though the animals in the zoo are beautiful & thriving, I was very displeased staying in the park’s accommodations. One of our rooms in the cabin had a dysfunctional AC. The bathrooms had mold. Checking in & out of the place took very long, especially check-out. After multiple calls, it took an hour for their van to pick us up from the cabin to the concierge area. The food all over the park was mediocre. The breakfast buffet was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. They wouldn’t replace or refill the chafing dishes, leaving us still hungry after breakfast. The Michel Angelo in the park wasn’t at par with their other branches in the City. Lots of great potential for a world-class facility, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

We had bad experiences. We had to wait much too long on every event to get in and of course waiting for every transport too. We ended up to walk the park. We also saw several animal with bad health conditions.
I personally don’t like this photo shootings on every corner. I saw plenty of zoos all over the world and this here is not a good one. The way from Cebu to this Safari park is a long one and the entrance fee is not small so you come with a certain expectation. We are truly not satisfied.

Hire a taxi for the day @$50. Adult tickets are $17. It's in the mountains (much cooler) and public transportation is not a good option.
It is a clean and large zoo. Not the best but still very good. Plenty of free trams to take you to locations in the park. The park is so large because the animals are in enclosures not cages.
Clean restrooms and typical tourest trap food.
Budget 7 to 8 hours to see everything.
One of the few family friendly tourest sites on Cebu.
As an American who loves zoos, I highly recommend it.

cebu safari for now is the our worst experience
1. not friendly employees esp the tram driver. We have kids and all they want us to just walk in sunlight to get to other animals. example we are in aviary show we said if they could bring us in snake or other animals they said we just walk bec its near
2. no social distancing in tram we are 14 pax they all want us to be together with other group of people. Where is the social distancing??
3. you need to wait forever for the tram
4. When we ask about the manager to complain no manager or any support to talk to.
I think cebu safari need seminar for all the employees. to be more courteous more friendly bec your entrance is not that cheap

I loved my day at the Safari. Abam, tour guide/driver was so kind and helpful. We spent time discussing all sorts of topics which a thoroughly enjoyed. We arrived at Safari on time, when it was early so had quiet time in the gardens and on the rides through the park. Would definitely recommend getting there early to see the animals feeding time. Check website to see who are being fed and when as it isn't always the same. The park itself is so heartwarming. The animals appear content and well nourished. Where possible animals roam freely and the birds are incredibly tame.

The place is huge and with different kinds of animals! We are amazed but the time we went most of the animals were sleeping but still it is a great experience! We never tried the rooms but the zoo itself is amazing! Though a bit tiring to walk under the blazing sun but its worth it

Travelled for almost two hours from cebu. There is quiet a queue when we arrive but it was well organized.Park is huge, staff are well trained and friendly. Every activity is thoroughly planned.Check out the schedules when you arrive to plan your route.
Each tour is so short and there’s not much animal to see.
We only see three lions in there white Lion Safari.
They have vehicle tours for Lion Safari and African Savnna. They need to add more attractions for the price to be worth it.

To maximize your stay at the park, you have to plan where you should go because there are show and ride timings. There are places that you cannot go by just walking.
Also, I tried their ATV intermediate course and it was fun but scary, haha.

Is there a luggage room to store our luggage at the park? I'll be landing at Mactan airport in the morning and I plan to visit the Adventure park and leave for my hotel which is in Oslob.
Written December 30, 2019
It's isolated so unless you have a car or a private driver getting there might be difficult. If you have a car leave your luggage in the trunk.

Hi. We are coming from Bacolod and plan to go to Carmen, Cebu a day before visiting Cebu Safari. Backpacking with a toddler. Any recommendations for a place to stay within Carmen, and near Cebu Safari? Alhibe Farm not available anymore for our desired date. Many thanks!
Written June 22, 2019
I’m not familiar with the Carmen area if they have hotels. we stayed in Ayala Cebu area and hired a private car to take us there.

If I visit this park from 8 am then can I caught my flight at 5 pm from matcan airport? As I see it’s far from Cebu city? What are the chances of getting transportation to there and returning back to airport direct from this park?
Written May 5, 2019
Hi, I don't think it is a good idea to visit the park on the same day as your flight. It would take you 2 hours or more (from cebu city) to get to the park because of traffic. So that would be an hour more going to Mactan Airport. Maybe next time if you have more time to visit since the park is huge and has various activities to enjoy.

Is the price of entry really based on height? 3 feet is about 91cm - my not yet 2 year old is about that height! Will she really be required to pay full fee?
