Nice limestone formations hidden in a secluded area. It is in an out of the way place. Maybe hard to locate. Road to the location from the entrance is very narrow and thru an alley between houses. Not recommended for large vehicles. You can park the car on the street and walk to the place (Less than 1 mile?). It has a lot of shady place and an easy walk. Best time to visit is when the sun it out and high. Place is not too warm. Can be slippery when wet.

Instagramable scenic old lime-stone mining. Recommending for pre-wedding photograph session. Best time to take picture here is around 3pm while the sunlight shining over the clive of redish lime stones. The picture taken are uncredible owesome. Don’t forget to explore the caves.

It’s a working mine and you can see the craftsmen making the blocks and bricks. The way it’s carved out of the hill makes for some interesting pictures. It’s worth a look and see for sure.

It's like entering dwarves domain. All the walls were carved manually and hand-made but it was done with passion. The miners did it randomly taking all the limestone all over the area and create such a surreal yet beautiful site as if we're somewhere in one of the middle earth's Dwarves kingdom.

This is a red limestone hill mined using traditional manual methods on a small scale. Because of the mining, the hill has interesting formations and caves which makes for good photo taking opportunities. However, it’s a long drive from Surabaya. Unless you’re there to picnic, there’s really nothing much to do after snapping your pictures. The road to the hill is pitted and bumpy. Not a comfortable ride at all.

This stone quarry is far away and secluded. Roads are bumpy and off beaten. It is a stone quarry, with the locals still mining for the rocks. There isn't any climbing, just a photo spot to see how the locals have carved it into a tourist attraction.
Car parking is at 20,000Rp, expect it to be hot without toilets. And perhaps spend 30mins max at the location. Best to have friends to take photos for you.
