Arriving there walking along a trail is an achievement, but arriving there by car is also. Narrow and steep road. From the Austrian side (±10 km), you cross a 200m 1-lane tunnel and from the Italian side (±8 km of narrow roads) a great deal of the time, you cannot see the traffic coming up or down, so be aware of possibly having to drive backwards.
The pass itself is a great peaceful area with a beautiful lake but the hotels seemed to be deserted. One single bar/restaurant was open.

Nassfeld is a good ski area, if you are an average skier. Lots of red slopes. The black ones could be reds too. The preparation of the pists is not good - so be there in the morning, when it is best.

The cross-country ski tracks next to Lake Pramollo are classified as "suitable for beginners" on all Nassfeld websites. I don't know who decided that, but this beginner went around the entire track when it had good snow and was freshly groomed, and it just isn't true. Very few level stretches, many steep ups and downs. Of course one can always take the skis off and walk- but where is the fun in that if you do it at least half the time? Maybe they meant beginners who are already very good downhill skiers. For all others: not really worth the 3 km walk from the cable car station. And with slushy or icy snow it must be hard even for experienced skiers.
Kurzfassung: diese Loipe ist nix für Leute, die gerade mit dem Langlaufen anfangen und nicht sehr geübte Alpinschifahrer sind. Nicht einmal bei guten Schneeverhältnissen.

Ciao, assolutamente nessun rischio. Non ci sono rischi o crepacci perché in inverno sono tutte piste da sci inoltre puoi salire o scendere con le varie seggiovie.
Ti consiglio il versante austriaco!
Ciao
Max
