Clean, Zen-like, but too pricey

Visiting friends in Brumath; stayed 3 nights-room on top floor-clean, very Zen. I was the only guest; super quiet; only saw the proprietor when I arrived; she handed me the key and briefly showed me the room; she was cordial, but never saw her again. I had to have a French friend call her to ask for a fan to be brought to my room since the temperature reached over 105F!!!! Website portrays the accommodations as a hotel, but at the end of my stay, after waking the proprietor to check out, I questioned her as to why the room was never made-up each day nor provided with clean towels; she claimed her place was not a hotel, but a hostel. What??!!! For the total price of US$375+, this was no hostel! Also, I asked her where the internet code was in the room since there was suppose to be free wifi, again, she said, "This is not a hotel, you needed to ask for the code." Say what again? I told her she should make this information known on her website; it is not clear. Although the proprietor was kind and I shared a cup of tea while dealing with the dilemma of paying with a credit card, I probably will not stay here again. FYI--cash, check, or pay through PayPal when checking out.
