It's a nice but modest museum. One can only visit it in a tour in Italian. The audiovisual presentations are not really up to date.

Definitely worth a visit. Charming owners and very interesting artifacts. Very nice garden with a thousand types of roses.

As a group we were visiting the area, no-one had, mentioned that it was so good. As Adria was very important in Etruscan and Roman times as a seaport it is rich in materials. The Roman glass display is world-class, as much of the glassware is unbroken because broken amphore protected it throughout the centuries. Its importance as a Roman port was overtaken by Raven a later, but it was a very important centre for years.…
