Me and my wife dived one day each with Sarda divers. Before arriving we had swift and precise info and response from Stefan. He was an a course for instructors when we were there, and Helmut guided us. He gave us a very good introduction to cave diving at its best. The athmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and easy going, yet safe and trustworthy. The water was cold, a new experince to us. I recommend a dry suite or at least 6+6 mm semi dry. If we come back, we would love to dive with Sarda divers and Helmut again.

This was my first dive in 7 years, so I opted to do the Padi tune up, and then the padi advanced with Sarda divers. The standard of teaching was excellent, (both the owners spoke fantastic English) and after the tune up session I felt totally relaxed with the subsequent dives. Full equipment rental was also no problem and the dive boat was comfortable even with around 8-10 passengers and gear. The dive sites were interesting and the mid-September weather was almost perfect. I stayed in Alghero and rented a bike for the trip to Fertilia, which was a pleasant 15min bike ride. After six dives I'd barely scratched the surface of what was on offer in the area. A return visit is a definite possibility!

We went diving with Sarda Divers over a weekend trip to Sardinia. Stefan and Bettina own the company and they couldn't be nicer and speak very good English. We flew in on Saturday and were flying out early on Tuesday so we had to dive on a Sunday. They were very accommodating to our schedule. We rented full equipment and did 2 guided dives, both of which were amazing. The first was to Grotto di Falco which was a cave where we were able to enter, surface, take our equipment off and walk around the cave to see all the stalactites and stalagmites; it was one of the coolest experiences I've had diving. This is something we would have been unable to do with one of the bigger dive companies as the group would have been too large. We also saw a couple of eels, a lobster, and a rare snail on this dive. The second was to Grotto dela Stalatiti which roughly translates to cave of the stalactites. We were able to dive pretty far into this cave but couldn't surface because the sea was too rough. In this cave you could see the stalactites underwater. We also saw some nice sealife on this dive. The prices of this company were a little higher than some of the bigger companies but it was totally worth the few extra Euros. The service was excellent, the dive boat was large, comfortable, and in good working order, and diving in a small group is always better than a large one. If we go back to Sardinia, we will definitely be diving with Sarda Divers again. If you are staying in Alghero and need to get to Fertilia it's a nice bike ride (about 20-30 mins) or you can take a bus, however, you need to buy your bus ticket ahead of time at the bus station near the Historic Center in Alghero and give yourself extra time because the busses only run every hour from Alghero. We ended up having to call a taxi because we couldn't get on the bus.
