This review does not refer to the clay pigeon shooting side of the business, only to the lodge. I have visited this venue many times over recent years. The clubhouse used to be a very pleasant place for functions and parties, with friendly staff and where nothing was too much trouble. I even had a great family birthday party there.... More

We called here this morning to shoot a few clays and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The shop staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and after shooting we stayed to have a bit to eat and enjoyed a very nice ploughman's lunch. The shooting ground is well set out and you can walk between stands and choose which ones you want... More

I had been dropping hints for a while so for our anniversary I was given a gift of a two hour lesson which I could share. I took my sister and we spent a wonderful afternoon at Greenfields. The instruction was very good and the teacher very patient. There is a clubhouse with a wood burning stove so when we... More

A group of us went shooting to start my 40 th birthday celebrations. The facilities ie clubhouse etc are very good, very welcoming.drinks etc are very reasonably priced. The instructors are incredibly patient and encouraging which they need to be with the group being mainly novices!!. They also make the experience fun and with a large group there is always... More

i have been going to this specific shooting ground for the past 3 years now. Its real fun if you want to take family or friends, on sundays there are non-member have a go's. it is £15 for 25 shots and £30 for 50 shots, beautiful surroundings. 100% recommended.

Just shot a 100 bird registered sporting here today. Lovely ground and clubhouse, one of the best I've been to but it's far from perfect. No Birds only option, very nice for the top shots but unfair on average club shooters. No food available after you've finished shooting. Attitude of some of the staff in the shop was ignorant bordering... More

I started shooting at Greenfields as a novice when I was eighteen. I am know sixty and have progressed to shooting competition around the country. In my experience this is one of the top shooting grounds there is. Enjoy! Andy Wellard
