We got really excited when we saw that the reserve was reopened with family tracks. We took the suggested family track which went down to the stream and falls and back up. The walk was too long and not fit for small kids and also most of the walk was in plain fields so we didn't enjoy any special view... More

We drove here from Tiberias with a friend. It is recommendable to go in the morning, especially during the warmer months as it really gets hot there. It is also possible that after 12am the entrance to trails can be limited - as we understood it. Staff are very helpful to guide you and show the way in the map.... More

We hiked to one of the falls with three kids. Two in the backpack and one of five years who hiked herself. Attractive because the park has flexible options, can be done with small kids and offers easy access to beautiful nature.

The Yehudia Forest reserve on the Golan Heights, is an Israeli classic. Unfortunately the Yehudia Stream hike has been closed for several years now due to a rock slide. However, the Zevitan with its hexagonal pools and waterfalls are still a must.

Take lots of water and wear good hiking shoes! Did this hike (Zavitan) the day after I hiked the Gilbon Stream Nature Reserve. This hike, the Zavitan Stream is a much easier hike than Gilbon Nature Reserve! Easy walk from Katzrin and back.

I have been here a couple of times in my life already and loved it each time. There is a variety of different treks to do and each has it's own level so there is something for everyone! Beautiful place with lots to see, and plenty of lakes and waterfalls to have a swim in! Highly recommended if you love... More

There is a variety of hikes suitable for different 'abilities'. The walk to the Hexagonal Pool is quite easy and therefore it gets rather busy there - as anywhere in Israel where there is water you can splash around in. The duration of walks indicated on the reserve's leaflet are pretty accurate, so don't underestimate the duration/lenghts of the walks.

We stayed at a hotel at the northern part of the lake of Galilee and had an extra day to enjoy the region due to an Israeli hotel policy. Usually you have to leave your hotel by about 11 am or noon but if you are schedule to leave your hotel on Saturday you can, at most places we have... More

We have just returned from another excursion to the north. This was our second stop and our main stop of the day. The heat was a setback, and our original plan was altered to just the short trail. This was advised by the staff. It took us 50 minutes to reach our destination. The reason it took so long was... More

Great wet field trip for the hot days. The full route is not suitable for little children, but a short stroll to the first natural pool and back is available.
