Taquilla Tickets Condado and Algar Falls
May 2021 • Friends
Well, yet another successful day out to this beautiful place. Just north of Benidorm, we travelled from Condado de Alhama with Taquilla Tickets. It was an early start, and we had to pick more people up from Hacienda del Alamo. By then we had nearly a full coach. Hand gel was available at all times and facemasks were worn throughout the trip. Nigel is "front of house" and his wife Sally does pretty much all of the organising and booking. And what a brilliant job they both do.
Anyway, we spent approximately 3 hours at the falls, but you could have stayed all day just listening to the sounds of the water, the wind in the bamboo, and the stunning scenery.
We left the Falls and headed towards the "old town" in Benidorm for a late lunch, a drink and a wander around. Walking along the seafront with the sun shining and everyone wearing masks, we felt completely safe. The "old town" has a lot of history attached to it, and it was nice to just stroll around before picking up the coach again at 6pm.
Taquilla Tickets (Nigel and Sally) made everyone feel completely relaxed and a part of their own family.
A really good day out and WELL DONE TAQUILLA TICKETS !!

Great day
Aug 2020 • Family
Beautiful place water is very cold which is nice and refreshing when you get used to it the board to jump off is closed off now (don’t know why) also 1 way in and 1 way out now. Had a nice coffee and ice cream at the cafe bar. Staff friendly and polite. It was no where near as busy as it usually is which is nice. The only problem is parking. There used to be many small area you could park and also you could park at the top of the steep hill but they are all closed. The only way you can park is in one of the restaurant car parks but obviously you have to eat there which to us wasn’t a problem as I like to support local businesses after the covid situation. The only car park not attached to a bar holds about 15 cars 😟 so you be lucky to get in there. All in all a lovely day out as it always is xx oh and you have to wear your mask unless you are swimming x

So busy and no social distancing
Aug 2020 • Family
We booked in advance and believed that numbers were limited and social distancing practised, so didn’t think it would be as busy as it would be in normal times in high season. The entrance was heaving with people, no opportunity to keep a metre distance from others let alone 2 metres. We arrived early for our 4pm entry and obviously had to wait. The falls were so busy we left without entering as we didn’t feel COVID safe. Everyone had to wear masks but a lot of people didn’t and most had their noses exposed. Parking was difficult and still don’t know where the official car park was, but the camp site at the top of the hill were very friendly and accommodating. Paid 5 euros to park there and got that amount refunded when you ate / drank in their restaurant. Their waffles were delicious.

Refreshing spot! Great end to any HOT day!!! Nature at it's best!

We visited here After Guadalest. A half hour drive from Guadalest. This place was surprisingly crowded during these times, with People from all over.Parking lots and the streets were packed with cars. All practiced safety re the covid, masks and social distancing, as much as One can in that situation. We parked at the bottom of the Hill and walked up to the entrance of the falls. At that time restaurants were closed to reopen later (siesta). The falls are wonderful. The water was cold, which was very suitable as the Day was extremely hot. The entrance to this place is 5 euros per person where you are given an armband to wear. One is NOT allowed to take in food, alcholic beverages to the site. When we Discovered this we were starving, had our own food, which we couldnt eat. We found a restaurant that served 'school food', paid alot too, but needed food. Tips: Eat before you go or snack on something in the car. There is a restaurant right at the entrance of the falls but it is very pricey and was a bit tacky- No spanish food. The staff at Fonts de l'Algar were very welcoming, friendly. There are bathrooms, toilets which were very clean. Tip 2: A pair of Good swimming shoes as the terrrain in the water is rocky. Take water, loads of it on a hot day is good.Just remember the least you carry with you, the better and more comfortable you Will feel. Pick a spot, jump in and enjoy. It is very Beautiful and worth the visit. RECOMMENDED HIGHLY!!

Amazing half day out
Jul 2020 • Family
We parked at the top in the restaurant car park, paid £20 but then had lunch where they took £20 off. Lunch was expensive but it was right next to the entrance. Timed entries, 9-1, 1-4 or 4-8. We did 1-4 which was busy but we still had plenty of room. Wear shoes you can go in the water with, we had sliders. Take towels. There are specific areas where you can picnic but alcohol, chairs or umbrellas. The are lots places to go in the water. Fantastic trip.

Cool venue, but gets busy.
Jul 2020 • Couples
Parking is a nightmare - parking tip: as you drive towards the falls, turn left at the Restaurant Casa Frederico (as though you’re turning into their car park) - there’s a road through the car park. About 5 minutes drive half way up the hill you’ll reach a level bit of rough ground that “in the know locals” park on. For free!
The falls have timed sessions for entry and exit. Best time is 09.00 until 13.00 when it’s quieter. Wear shoes that you can wear in water - the river bed is rough and slippery. Food and drink is not permitted to be taken into the falls. A nice place to spend some time in the cool, but can get really busy.

NO COVID safety or parking at all!!! AVOID!!!
Jul 2020 • Family
DO NOT GO!!! NO COVID measures AT ALL!!! 1 star because that is the least you can give!!! See attached pictures. Visit 29th July 2020 16:00-20:00hrs slot. Staff nor the Policia on duty cared or did much to counter the situation. Additionally ALL car parks associated with the attraction are CLOSED. Such a shame as normally a lovely place to visit.
