6 day beginner class - A brilliant experience from start to finish. The group sizes were so much smaller than all the other ski schools around which helped us all progress with confidence. The week was tailored to our group, with options to advance to another class if you felt confident to. Everything from ski safety to lift use and technique was covered. Our instructor, Louis (with the pink hat) was fantastic. He instantly made you feel at ease and helped you build confidence throughout. He was approachable and easy to get along with, making the classes even better. He took the time to give everyone personalised feedback and would always make sure you left the session feeling happy with your progress. If you were struggling, he’d always help and made sure you were never left behind in the group. He used his in-depth knowledge and experience to ensure you were challenged to get the most out of the lesson but made sure you did not feel pushed beyond your limits. He also showed professionalism and good sportsmanship throughout; not only would he help you when fallen, but wouldn’t see any skier stuck without help. Our group advanced from not knowing how to put ski boots on to trickier blue slopes in such a short time because of his excellent teaching. The company advised beginners to not get ski lift passes until we told to do so - this was great as we didn’t waste +€140 on lift passes in the first few days; lots of free green and blue runs were used to build skill and confidence to get us ready to use the higher/larger runs. As soon as we felt confident enough, we got ski lift passes and explored more!

I had booked afternoon group ski lessons for the week to help force me in to making the move from snowboard to skis. Unfortunately when my week arrived I was the only one booked for the afternoon so EVO2 offered a refund or to swap to an equivalent cost of private lessons. I was apprehensive about having just a few hours of private lessons as thought I might not have the motivation to practice on my own, but 3 x 1.5 hour lunchtime lessons with the excellent Jeff turned out to be the best thing I could have done. Jeff explained everything very well, was politely firm with ensuring I got the basics right and pushed me to try the next thing, all with good positive reinforcement. With each lesson I had something new to work on and had no difficulty motivating myself to practice on the Poma and then the Almes lift. By day 4, my lessons had finished, and with what I'd been taught was able to ski down the blues from the top of the Val Claret funicular with my more competant family 4 times. Thoroughly recommend EVO2 and Jeff in Tignes le Lac.

Thank you so much to my brilliant instructor Raphaël for an amazing week of ski lessons at Evolution 2 in Le Lac. I would recommend these lessons and Raphaël to anyone learning to ski/wanting to improve. 10/10 - such an incredible experience, I was always supported and the lessons really improved my confidence, enabled me to explore the area whilst learning lots and feeling really encouraged. I booked into the green group and got moved up to the blue ski group on day 1 and instructors were always supporting people to be in the group that best suited them. Raphaël was really kind especially in moments where I felt a little scared. I had so much fun and am really grateful for such a great week of ski lessons. Brilliant experience, brilliant group and brilliant instructor! Thank you Raphaël! Can’t wait to be back and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. :)

Just back from a weeks skiing holiday in Tignes. I booked in for 5 days ski school (parallel green). My instructor Marco was fabulous! There were 8 people in the class which allowed Marco to give each of us good feedback and detailed instruction to improve our skiing. His extensive knowledge of the Tignes/Val D’Isere area meant that we were able to experience many different runs within the 3 hour lesson. My 5 year old daughter was booked in to Yetison and was flying down the blue runs by the end of the week. Would highly recommend Evo2 and will book again in the future.

Our family of six went in January 2025 to Tignes and absolutely loved it-in no small part to the wonderful instructors. Our 4 year old enjoyed her time at ski school (I think called Yeti club) and by the end of the week was going out on the slopes and able to do far more than I imagined her to do. There was zero moaning before going which I thought may happen due to being tired or cold. Our 6 and 7 year old daughters were in a group together and now are OBSESSED with skiing and didn’t want to leave. They ski better than I do now which is really brilliant to see. They had pascale and they covered so much of the piste it was a total joy to see their progress. My husband had Guilio and had a brilliant time (he LOVED him) . My son was in an intermediate class and also happily went off every day-I’m afraid I can’t remember the name. I was in a beginner ish group with the lovely and patient Thomaso. He was such a lovely guy and really took the time to watch everyone thoroughly and give pointers throughout each run. He was fun and chatty and great at his job making us all feel at ease. All in all we had a wonderful week and we were all sad to leave. Thanks evolution 2 your instructors are a credit to you. Ali

Just had the most amazing ski lesson with Alex H - a very king, caring and detailed instructor who made my friend and I feel at ease whilst challenging us and giving us the most enjoyable lesson. Alex H from evolution 2 skiing is someone I couldn’t recommend more. For the two hours we thoroughly went through all the skiing techniques and were corrected thoroughly when needing improvement. Being a visual learner Alex made sure to always demonstrate and make us go one by one so that he could give detailed individual feedback. We had so much fun, were continuously laughing and having a fun time. Thank you for being so smiley and supportive!!

Excellent snowboarding (+ski) school. Myself and my wife had Camille and Jeremy as instructors and we booked Camille for an extra private lessons one afternoon. Incredible instructors, very talented. Camille really helped my wife improve the basics of her snowboarding, she had improved so much by the end of our trip. We have used Evolution 2 in Tignes and Chamonix, would choose this company every time!

Booked a 2hr training session in Nordic skiing. Our trainer Adrian was excellent. He provided exactly the coaching we wanted and needed, with patience, intelligence and charm. The session was the perfect start to the sport and has inspired us to continue. Thanks Adrian !

I have used evolution2 in both Chamonix and Tignes Le Lac. I will choose this company every time. I had Camille for our Lessons this time and my husband had Jeremy. Both were incredible, patient and really excellent at what they do. Camille helped me improve the basics of my snowboarding. After a 3 day group course, I booked an extra afternoon with Camille, which was worth every penny! Would recommend Evolution 2 to all!

Did the three hour Level 2 Snow Shoe offering. We had never done snow shoeing before and weren’t sure how fit you needed to be. Turns out Level 2 is perfect for a 50 year-old who doesn’t do enough exercise normally! Delphine (and, of course her Border Collie) took us for a lovely walk through the forest lower down the mountain (between 1800 and 1600m). Snow was beautiful and pristine in places. Learned to climb steep hills and slide down them too Felt we’d done a proper workout but hadn’t overdone it at all. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the mountains in winter but doesn’t want to ski every day. Will definitely be back for more!
