This funicular goes down to the port. The tickets are about 1.50 euros each. Lovely views on the way down and going past interesting houses.

This is a must seen at Thonon-les-Bains. This is best to use it to go up as it's relatively easy to walk down even with a pushchair. The view is great!

It is cheap, and easy and links upper and lower Thonon which is well worth a wander. A nice service provided by the town otherwise your alternative is quite a steep incline.
