We enjoyed this funiculaire. It is a quick and pleasant ride to the lake and back. Nice views to take pictures.

A fun (and cheap) ride either down to the lake or up to the center of town! Great for kids, elderly (the alternative is a pretty steep hill), and those who want to take some photos of the lake during the ride (about 45 seconds-...More

Very nice experience you can either walk down throw the beautiful path and go back up to the top by the small train or the opposite. it only costs 1euro and takes only about 10 minutes ride.

Mostly it’s transportation from the upper Thonon to the shore. It’s nicely painted, has glass window for the view, a cute ride.
