3 pools suitable to cover all the family needs, a good play park and water toboggan slide, diving boards into the lake, beach with flotation aids and water sports, all over looking Lac Leman. Not always enough sun beds but well worth a family visit.

Went on the recommendation of a local friend, and really had a great day out. There is a complex of pools for all abilities and aims (larking about or laps), plus the ability to take a refreshing dip in the lake. Lots of lockers and very well maintained changing areas. A good cafe or a decent sandwich bar. Plenty of room to sit, by the pools, by the lake front or under the trees on a grassy hillside. Easy parking just over the road. Very highly recommended.…

The Municipal Plage of Thonon offers access for swimmers to Lac Léman, but there are also a sportive and a leisure pool, grass areas with trees that give enough shade, sun umbrellas, sunbeds (fee), a jumping tower, a ping-pong table and a restaurant (with service). Parking should be no problem, because a big grass area can be used in addition to the two main parkings (all in short distance to the entrance gate). Be prepared that your baggage will get checked at the entrance (no glass bottles allowed). Even on a hot summer Sunday the Municipal Plage of Thonon didn't get really crowded. The entrance fee of EUR 4,50 per person is worth paying, since you can really relax there. The only thing missing is wi-fi. The restaurant serves not just junk food, they've got a meal of the day and you can sit relatively comfortable on their terrace, so nothing to complain about. Ah yes, and one of the waitress speaks very good English!…

Lovely place for a relax by the pool, what fabulous scenery, clean, inexpensive and you can take a picnic to sit on the grass area. There is a restaurant on site and snack bar, which are both great and the staff are friendly. The only reason I have marked this down is that the pool can be very cold, which puts my hubby off having a long swim but you have a choice of pools or even the lake to have a splash in.…

What can I say great value, great staff, great day. This complex is ran to a great standard it’s clean, tidy and has plenty of life guards around from lake swimming and diving to the heated pools. A great venue day or evening. We spent a whole day from 10am till 7pm here it cost under £20 entry with extra payment for the toboggan ride. You can pay more to paddle board, canoe too. Fab day loved by us all.…
