Les Gets is a compact ski resort with a range of more difficult runs and a snow park on Mont Chery, whilst across town (a short walk or ski train ride away) there are a wide range of runs linked to the Portes du Soleil. The town has a great selection of cafes, restaurants, chalets and hotels and is great... More

A lovely resort - great variety of pistes within easy access of the town of Les Gets which is well served by many good, reasonably priced restaurants and bars. It's extremely family friendly and a short distance from Geneva. We're often here.

Been coming here for years and still love it a great range of runs and lots of superb places to eat whilst you are out. We never bother with the Avoriaz lift pass and stay clear of feb half term.

Fantastic resort, aimed primarily at families. Beautiful little traditional French town with loads of good eating places. Plenty of things to do for the kids, not to mention the skiing. If you're after a lot of lively apres ski this isn't really the place ! Huge ski area, again aimed at families. Beautiful scenery and loads of gentle blues and... More

My rich cousin has a hedge fund chalet in Les Gets, fab house. It's a small intimate village, no groovy night clubs. Sleepy and provincial alpine village. Good points No noisy evenings Peaceful Many great ski hire shops Many great restaurants It's a fully functioning French Alpine village, Post Office, banks, chemist, doctor, restaurants, electrical shop, etc etc. Great hotels.... Fabulous holiday ♡ Hotels, restaurants, ski fun! But avoid booking ESF ski/snowboard tuition. Staff in the office great but unless you get a nice instructor your child will have the worst experience!

First time in Les gets and very pleasantly surprised. Yes it is lower than many other resorts but we have excellent snow and the resort to work really hard to keep it in great condition. Great range of slopes and restaurants on and off the slopes. Definitely a family resort.

Our family of 4 (children age 9 & 10) spent a week in Les Gets. We have skiid numerous resorts in Europe and Les Gets rates as one of our best. The extended Port Du Soleil ski area is enormous (far too big to cover in 6 days) and the Les Gets/Morzine area is the prettiest & most scenic skiing... More
