We were first time skiers, and what a beautiful place this is to learn to ski, fantastic nursery slopes and we didn't see them all as there was not a lot of snow. well worth visiting even for the beautiful scenic village.

Great resort, small and tyrollean style on the edge of a huge ski region which spreads as far as Champery Switzerland. Lots of blue rubs for beginners or families. All the usual options of chalets and hotels, bars and apres ski entertainment

Les Gets is a lovely village with good shops, restaurants and bars and the views are great. The skiing is varied with lots of runs from green to black and passes can link across to the Morzine runs. The only issue with Les Gets is its altitude which means that start and end of season carry some risk of low... More

Very family oriented quaint scenic village good mix of reds blues and some blacks and off piste. If snow is abundant it's fantastic if snow is poor can be very icy or limited. Recommended for family skiing especially with young family.

Les Gets has everything for a great family skiing holiday. Access to a huge skiing area Le Porte Du Soleil which includes Avoriaz as well as the Morzine and Les Gets ski areas themselves. The ski school is right in the heart of the village and not up a hill. There are dozens of wonderful restaurants to suit all pockets... More

First time to Les Gets and it was great. There wasn't much snow as the Alps had a warm December, but that didn't take away from our enjoyment. There were plenty for the kids to do (ski, skate, sledge) and were always entertained. I cannot comment on all the runs, but the ones we did were enjoyable. The town itself... More

Les Gets is a compact ski resort with a range of more difficult runs and a snow park on Mont Chery, whilst across town (a short walk or ski train ride away) there are a wide range of runs linked to the Portes du Soleil. The town has a great selection of cafes, restaurants, chalets and hotels and is great... More

A lovely resort - great variety of pistes within easy access of the town of Les Gets which is well served by many good, reasonably priced restaurants and bars. It's extremely family friendly and a short distance from Geneva. We're often here.

Been coming here for years and still love it a great range of runs and lots of superb places to eat whilst you are out. We never bother with the Avoriaz lift pass and stay clear of feb half term.

Fantastic resort, aimed primarily at families. Beautiful little traditional French town with loads of good eating places. Plenty of things to do for the kids, not to mention the skiing. If you're after a lot of lively apres ski this isn't really the place ! Huge ski area, again aimed at families. Beautiful scenery and loads of gentle blues and... More
