Despite the many negative comments we read, we finally decided to form our own opinion. And we did well. Very warm welcome from the whole team. Even with 5 children “in hand”, we had a very pleasant time while tasting some wines.

We visited the chateau recently and loved the rosé wine.
We bought a box of rose m de minuty: 12.75 eu per bottle if we boucht a box of 6.
Much to my surprise we were able to find exactly the same wine in SLIGRO supermarket in Netherlands at... 7.45 eu per bottle.
So ok to taste the wine at the chateau but better buy it at home in NL
Just a tip.

We went many time to visit this winery and were always welcomed with smile and attention. We tasted the various wines and were even offered a bottle of white wine to taste it at home.
The Rose Or, the White and Red are sublime. We are fans of these wines.

Myself and my parents visited about 4pm on Wednesday afternoon to enquire about a tour and we tried 3 glasses of rosé each for free that day. We then booked for the Monday to do a wine tour and tasting. It cost €30 each and it included an in depth tour and our guide answered all our inquisitive questions to great depth. We then tasted 6 wines with decent measures and we were able to compare each the rosé, white and red. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend as we had a great two hours there!

We have been customers for more than 10 years and loyal to Château MINTY for the same period.
That day we arrived 25 minutes before closing.
The little girl at the counter was washing up the tasting glasses. She ignored us.
Customers arrived after us, they were taken care of immediately by his colleague, not terrible...it's already been 10 minutes...The moment arrives, it's our turn! Yes but no... the little girl who has just finished her dishes tells us that there is no more tasting possible because they close in 15 minutes.
She saw in our face that her remark had challenged us. She will add that yes, you have to do the dishes well, that's how it is.
If she had been my employee, she would have had a remark.
Our baskets are between 509 and 1000 euros each time.
At Minuty, the Award of 6 bottles is around 110 euros (Low Award).
There is no doubt that the service must be of another quality.
We are therefore very disappointed with this unworthy reception of the brand.

Not a great experience. Only 3 samples per customer which made it difficult to try all the wines. This was also served warm so it was not the most pleasant sample experience.
Not much of a vineyard experience it’s more of a shop. We were hoping to find out more about the vineyard and how the wine was made.
I ended up leaving with no wine. The wine is poor quality and has a strong taste of chemicals.
Luckily we found another vineyard on the way back as we were very disappointed with the minuty experience.

As a big fan of Minuty wine I was excited to visit their chateau for a tasting prior to buying their rosé wine. The venue was beautiful. But the experience was not pleasant. The staff were un-smiling, cold and brisk. People arrived all the time and were processed fast. I requested 3 glasses so I could compare their wines after the first taste-as I always do. I was told ‘one glass per person’. We bought over €100 of wine. (Wish we hadn’t) As an afterthought I asked to try their white wine in order to maybe buy some, I hoped. I was told ‘only 3 wines per person.’ I wasn’t allowed!!! Honestly, to give the girls the benefit of the doubt I think they were working off a script. Farewell, Minuty. We will not be back. Neither will I drink your wine again once my bottles are finished. Sour taste left in the mouth.

We were greeted by the rudest most unpleasant blonde woman who made comments to the french family opposite about us being English. Clearly not nice ones as I said, that I speak and understand French and live next door. She went bright red but did not apologise. We had bought a case of their white and asked to try the red. She said we were only allowed 3 sip of wine and we had reached our limit. I said I was buying for a large party/wedding. She could not have cared less. I pointed out that we needed a sip of each of their 3 reds so that we could chose. She said 'Non'. So we left. Rude. Unpleasant. Really do not bother. Go next door to Rouilleres on the road to Ramatuelle where you will be greeted with a big smile and lots of help choosing what you want. Truly dreadful experience.

Only allowed to try 3 wines which was a real shame as the wine is excellent. Spent over €300 and would have spent more if given the opportunity. The staff were rather unfriendly and not welcoming insisting a limit on tasting. Other chateaux in the region are much more friendly, approachable and professional (something Minuty could learn from).

Note 1. Everything was supposed to be a wonderful experience, but it wasn’t, it was disastrous. We arrived with a friend to buy some bottles, we did not want to do tasting because we knew there would be no time , we just wanted to taste the wine we were going to buy, but there were two girls at the reception very ill educated, rude who could not treat any customer the way we were treated . They should have more humility, understanding and wisdom to work with the public.

Are dogs allowed for the wine tasting?
Les chiens sont-ils bienvenus?

I am not sure but maybe you can leave the dog outside the door. There's enough space. 😀

Can we bring 3 children? Ages 6, 10 and 12? How much? Soula x
Written August 28, 2018
We have three children. Would that make wine tasting complicated? They may get bored or mischievous. What do you think?
Written August 27, 2018
Wine tasting does not take long, however if it takes longer the place does not provide for running and playing. Should your children get bored perhaps you can split and while one will continue tasting the other will take children for a walk in the vineyard.
