About
My cooking classes are inspired by my love of Provence, my homeland, the land of olive trees, vineyards, sunshine and beautiful landscapes. Therefore, come and discover the rich Provencal, culinary tradition handed down to me by my mother and my grandmother; a tradition that in its simplicity seeks to celebrate and give expression to the intense flavors and aromas of the local produce.

Everything we were looking for in a Provencal cooking class!
Sep 2019
We knew that we wanted an authentic, Provencal cooking class experience. One where we could be in someone's home and get to experience their traditional style of cooking in a countryside environment.

I am SO glad that I stumbled upon Sabine! Our group of four had such a special experience cooking with her, meeting her family and pets and sampling their family's delicious wines. The food we cooked was so flavorful yet not overly complex, giving us confidence that the meal was definitely something we could replicate at home. By far the best ratatouille we've ever eaten!

Thank you, Sabine! This is an experience that we will always remember.

Lovely, memorable day with Sabine.
Jul 2019 • Couples
My husband and I truly enjoyed our beautiful day in the vineyards cooking with Sabine. Beside cooking and having a nice meal we felt like we had gotten a true experience of what it might be like to live amid beautiful vines and olive trees. We would recommend this to anyone in the area.

Cooking with Sabine

Had an amazing day cooking with Sabine. The flavours in the food were incredible! Sabine provided lots of helpful tips and techniques. So comfortable in her beautiful Provencal home with her lovely family surrounded by their olives and vineyards. Farm to table from the herbs to the olive oil to the wine!
Can’t wait to return!!

Provence cooking with Sabine

FABULOUS! The food was more than I expected. Sabine is engaging and encouraged all of us to participate in the cooking of the meal. Appetizers and dinner were enjoyed in unparalleled beauty on Sabine’s gorgeous terrace which overlooks the family’s wine vineyards in the Provence countryside.

It’s the best!!!

On Monday I took 3 friends to cook with Sabine. She welcomed us into her home & kitchen. I’m very partial because this was my 4th class and we have become friends, but my friends immediately started telling me that this was the highlight of their trip It is a true immersion into the life and food of Provence. I have taken many classes but I think Sabine’s is truly the best if you want to experience the area.

Sabine is a great instructor.
We made a delicious lunch.
(I wish we all could go out into the forest to harvest wild thyme!)
I don't think my husband will ever get over watching Sabine's deft way with baking rolls and making vinaigrette!

This was part of a wonderful day with the incomparable Olivier Hickman at Wine Uncovered.

Enjoyable morning cooking, great conversation and relaxed lunch on the terrace
Sep 2018 • Couples
Let me say from the start that the only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because my wife and I are quite experienced and good cooks and we found some of the elements a bit too simple. (eg the bread rolls and the plum cake - which was delicious and light!) However, Sabine was charming and we enjoyed the conversation with her greatly. I also learnt a few new French words such as gaspiller (to waste). Lunch under the pergola with wines from the Domaine was great and I was not happy that I was driving and had to curtail my intake! We do have some words of advice to attendees: get clear instructions on how to find La Grange Vielle as it is “off the beaten track”. And I do mean beaten. In our fairly low Volvo V60 navigating the deeply rutted track to the house was a trial (we grounded twice). I do advise Sabine to tell her clients about this in advance. But this did not spoil a really nice day which ended with a tasting at the Domaine with Alex and the purchase of a dozen bottles of their super red wines.

This was my 3rd visit to Sabine’s cooking class. It is always the highlight of my trip. I cannot say enough about a visit with her. The cooking class is authentic Provencal cooking and being welcomed into her home is truly delightful. Enjoy!!

Best times at our cooking class!
Jun 2018 • Couples
We are three couples from the Toronto area in Canada and we had a very special time cooking with Sabine. She is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The moment we arrived, you can tell immediately that this time will be special. Even for our non cooking companions, there were all levels of instruction and coaching. Every one of us felt as though we were an important part of the meal. Some of the best times were at lunch talking about food, French culture, and comparing notes re: French and Canadian.

Great day of food and fun
Jun 2018 • Couples
My husband and I spent the day cooking with Sabine. I learned a lot. The food was excellent and it was interesting to hear about her family and their wine business. The ingredients we used were so fresh. Food was delicious. The wine we drank was from their vineyards. It was an amazing experience. We even stopped at the Domaine de L’Amandine winery to buy some bottles to drink during the rest of our trip.
