For 9 euros (less for children), you get access to a lot of roman ruins plus the amphitheater and museum. It was also interesting to learn about the origins of Vaison la Romaine and surrounding area. Ticket office/entrance at Le Site de Puymin. Would recommend.

We know they were Roman sites here but did not think they were this large. It’s only nine euros to have access to both sites and the museum. Your ticket is good for 24 hours. They give you a code for one of the other...More

Everything from Roman toilets to the amphitheater, though the amphitheater is mostly restored at this point. Audio guide takes you through the entirety of the sites with great information.

Fascinating trip back in time to some of the more luxurious houses of the period. The site is easily traversed on the walkways provided. We had a professional guide to explain what all the different structures were. Not sure if audio guide is available for...More

The Roman ruins in Vaison-la-Romaine are centrally located. No need to pay an admission to visit inside the gate ~ the view from the sidewalk was perfect.

There is a large archealogical site in Vaisons from the Roman Empire. It’s all laid out so you can see where people lived. The museum also has films to show you how they lived. Note: the film shows in French and then in English afterward....More

For a small(ish) town the size and detail of this Roman settlement is extraordinary. Small enough to visit in detail over the course of a day (even after going round the weekly market) with a bit of imagination the bustling life of a busy Roman...More

This museum has an outstanding collection of Roman mosaics, as well as well-preserved Roman ruins. Well worth a visit of a few hours Both the indoor and outdoor sections are well presented. This was a major Roman city in France

The remains were relatively interesting with good panels in English however the Museum didn’t have as much in English therefore this requires an audio guide (which is 2 Euro and a piece of ID). The site can be interesting to look round but also a...More
