A couple of times I have mounted this 'hunk' .. by bike .. not only once a day ... a graceful peace of land that is every time an incredible experience ..

Brilliantly paved roads and options to ascend from three different towns Bedoin( tour route ) Malaucene and Sault. Km markers on all routes. Views are unbelievable. Malaucene was my favourite quieter than Bedoin good views and safer descent. Sault is longer but more gradual and start from higher altitude.

Drive to Sault. Park. Ride up with a quick beer at Chalet Reynard. Great day out! Be careful not to ride too much beforehand this is not for beginners but can be done by if you take it easy... Tip buy some sweets on top. Yummy!

You can't come to this area and not ascend Ventoux either by bike or car. The views are astounding. There are some nice stalls at the top selling biscuits and sweets and a shop selling overpriced tat. Being a cyclist this was heaven for me.

We drove to the top ofMont Ventoux, and saw many riders making the climb. It's a tough climb! The views from up there are breathtaking! So expansive! There is a little store there, where you can even get a cycling jersey, and some other snacks. The drive from Vaison-la-Romaine and Malaucene to the top is really nice. The drive from... More

with hairpin turns and bikers, walkers and cars this lovely drive becomes especially challenging at the summit where everyone converges on this barren landscape...not for the fear of heights person, especially if driving!

Loved the view but we were constantly dodging cyclists speeding downhill. Nothing wrong with that but it is stressful for driving. We drove in the middle of a bike race and so the summit had a barely passable lane. We were lucky to have exceptional weather and a great view. Even saw a young lady riding her unicycle to the... This was an excellent way of experiencing Mont Ventoux and the surrounding areas with full medical and mechanical support. The gorges de Nesque was spectacular with rock arches and tunnels through the cliff, the air was scented with flowers and views from Mont Ventoux were truly amazing
