We have been visiting Camargue for decades now and always visit Pont de Gau. Plenty of different bird species to be seen and great photo opportunities.

A super visitor experience. They miss a trick by not having any gift shop! There are birds in large enclosures but they are severely injured and could never survive in the wild.

We drove with friends into the Camargue from their home near Anduze, so ... an hour-and-a-half or so. I had heard about this place from our friends, but really had no idea what to expect. Expect: Kinda a compromise between developed tourist stop and natural...More

We had heard about the park but were not prepared for the size of it. The bird life is fantastic particularly the flamingos. An enjoyable visit!

The well marked walks around the ponds give you an excellent opportunity to watch different kinds of birds in the water, flying and sitting in their nests. There is also a lot of information not just about birds but also about other animals and the...More

We went to the parc twice in the same day, and both the morning and the afternoon visit was stunning! We were overwhelmed with the amount of flamingos, and how close we could get to them. Very recommended!

A word of warning. Bring your euros as they don't accept credit cards. It's 7.50 euro/ person. We arrived just after the parc opened at 9am & there were very few people walking the track. When we drove past the parc a few hours later...More
