I prefer the beaches around Cannes, easier to access by car. Best to sail to Pampelonne it is a bit remote

The other side of St Tropez features this large sandy bay with good parking by the clean sandy safe beach, showers, toilets and changing facilities, some food and drink outlets, well worth the visit.

It's a beach with plenty of activities to be carried out: swimming, walking, sunbathing, windsurfing, etc I've been there in May with very few people on. It's a nice place with easy access and many parking lots. Excellent relaxing place in the early summer season.

Ok if you take along a few hundred euros for lunch! Best to take a picnic and a towel and enjoy the sea sun and sand in-between the over priced restaurants, everything closes mid afternoon, which is a bit useless. Nice walk for an hour...More

The atmosphere is wonderful, very much like a pirate's lair. Open year round. You may find Brigitte Bardot dinning after the tourists are...More
