I love Cassis, small little harbor, cute filled with restaurants and ice-cream stores. There is a small beach crowded in the week-end. I love the stores filled with local items. It's nice to get an ice-cream and sit by the sea. You can catch boats...More

If you enjoy watching all sorts of boats, you may enjoy Port de Cassis. Yet it is just another port, not particularly large.

Nice harbour with usual shops and restaurants. We went for a wine tasting at a small wine bar followed by some ice cream on the harbour front. Interesting jewellery shop

Still, a very pleasant way to spend a day. We did enjoy the ambiance, the coffee was good and the sweets as well.

Arriving by Train from Aix En Provence through Mersailes was somewhat dissappointing. The train station is miles away from the city and there is only 1 x 20 seater bus for everyone. Standing Room only and the bus driver takes no responsibility as to how...More

We took a day trip here from Marseille. It was less than 30 minutes by train. You need to take a taxi into town as the station is just a bit too far to walk and up a steep hill. We had lunch with a...More

The port of Cassis is a sleepy little port with many restaurants and shops. It contains some beautiful little old wooden boats and is lovely to spend a couple of hours exploring. Mostly touristic of course, but a few sweet photo opps. :-)
