Roman architecture. Well preserved and well presented. lots of information in many languages . based next to the river Charente.

We stopped into the tourist centre located next the centre, with map in hand we proceeded to do a self guided walking tour of this wonderful city. After completing our tour we dropped in to see the amazing roman ruins, defineately worth a look.

This is a nice insight to some of the stonework that has been found in the Saites regions. from Child sarcophaguses to Columns it does give a brief insight into the lives of Roman Saintes
