Just a short walk from Camping au Port Punay along a boulevard. Shops, restaurants and markets. A great place to have an evening meal.

Boring new town with a few shops and restaurants. Nice beach though. Just a bit boring. L’attelieur restaurant was excellent though so redeemed the evening somewhat.

A lovely looking beach which stretches for some distance. Always seemed busy and popular. The water appeared quite choppy but it is the Atlantic after all. We didn’t actually get on the beach as they don’t allow dogs from May to October. Disappointing for us...More

It’s terrible fully muddy sea, white sand in costal area, but inside the sea it’s all muddy. If you see the sea it’s all black colour. Not good sea to swim

Awesome beach with a picturesque promenade! Unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed from may to October, you should consider this when traveling with your fury friends as we do :)

Unspoiled. Older, lovely houses with distinctive architecture line the streets and the shore. Nothing over 3 stories! Cafes right on the water. Great long boardwalk. The tide here is really out when it is out, so if you are just visiting for one day and...More

I spent many return visits to this place with family. The beach & promenade have improved beyond all my memories of this friendly seaside town. Will visit again earlier.

We stayed in an Airbnb apartment from 26-30 October right on the sea front. As soon as the sun came out, hoards of people arrived (joggers, groups of kids, cyclists, skateboarders, walkers, Nordic walkers) and we couldn't even park outside our apartment. Too busy and...More

Hi, Not really. The sea on this beach is particularly calm, especially at low tide. Furthermore, you have a long range to join the sea, and again a long range to go out from the shallow part of the sea.
