A lovely looking beach which stretches for some distance. Always seemed busy and popular. The water appeared quite choppy but it is the Atlantic after all. We didn’t actually get on the beach as they don’t allow dogs from May to October. Disappointing for us...More

Hi ..when the tide is in it is shallow a long long way out so warm shallow water and you can go out quite far up to waist or chest. I am nota snorkler but i think this would work. when the tide is out you can walk really really far on the mud and the hit deep ocean.
Does that work for snorkles??

Not really. The sea on this beach is particularly calm, especially at low tide. Furthermore, you have a long range to join the sea, and again a long range to go out from the shallow part of the sea.
