Beauvais cathedral is famous for having the highest nave in the world and the height inside is indeed impressive. Watch where you sit though because birds als love flying around inside the church, resulting in dirty chairs. The stained glass windows are beautiful and there...More

We visited here, all six of us. It was peaceful despite areas undergoing restoration. The building is steeped in history and remains a sacred space. There is a clock there too, but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to visit it as it seemed to...More

This building is something else! I believe that it has the tallest vault in the world! - It's awe inspiring. Although never completed - what is there (Transepts and choir) is truly beautiful. It's so lofty that you have to crane your neck to look...More

Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in churches for the sweeping height of the interior. Only saw the unusual clock briefly and we didn't have time to stay for the presentation about it unfortunately.

A beautiful gothic cathedral in the centre of Beauvais. Definitely worth a visit. We could not get inside because we went late in the day but even the outside is amazing to look at.

Beautiful gothic and atmospheric building with a fascinating astronomical clock, mixture of old and modern stained glass windows and sadly currently suffering from problems with foundations. Nearby are cafes and street parking.

Nuce cathedral in the center of city. Entrance is free. Many bars and restaurants around. Distance from square is around 300m.
