My family and I come here often when we are in La Roche Sur Yon, its a beautiful place to walk, our son loves the animals (and we do too). I've visited the area at night as well and have always felt completely safe.

This is an unusual and creative use of space in the middle of a city centre. It is usually open in the afternoons. The machine animals are imaginative and creative. It is excellent for children.

Amazing city square, perfect for several hours of entertainment for our inquisitive boys. We went 3 times over a 24 hour stay in the city!!

Lots of mechanical animals set in ponds within a park area. You can control the animals and make them splash water. The children really liked the animals - so many to see. A wonderful area to visit.

Overlooked by Napolean, these fantastically crafted mechanical animals are a sight to behold. The square is full of water gardens, each with an exciting robotic addition. We also loved the street art exhibition in one corner. A good hour or two to while away the...More

Amazed to find these mechanical masterpieces in a town square rather than a gallery or museum. Kids had fun making the animals move and trying to get passers by wet. Wonderful surroundings and enough to keep the kids entertained for a couple hours for FREE...

Stumbled on this during a recent visit to the area and it provided HOURS of enjoyment for my son while we relaxed at the cafe at the site where we were able to see him at every point. Couldn't say enough about it. He was...More

It was our first visit to the city. We are young family but always love to find points of interest to show our inquisitive two year old. The square itself is beautiful with the water, statue and plants but with the art exhibition a real...More
