Again, the post office staff there were very helpful and ready to facilitate whatever you asked of their post office related questions. We bought the 75th D-Day Anniversary Sheet of Stamps there and a small (metal) toy French Postal Service Golf Cart there. A memento and collectors item. It appears this post office is one of the very few office that sells it. If you are visiting, make sure you stop there and get one for your collection, if interested. GREAT experience!!!

This very charming old stone house located in La Grand Rue of St Mitchel was one of the more unique and surprising little gems of my time here. I never expected to see a post office! It was not crowded when I was there even though Mont St Michel was full of people and very busy! They sell stamps and postmark mail; a visit here invokes a nostalgic post of the past

Wanted to buy a stamp for a post card. Cost was €1.40. I offered a €10 note and the guy looked like I had offered a €100 note. He complained he had no change. I got €2 from a friend. He shrugged is shoulders and said he had no change. We decided we had had enough and said to cancel the transaction but only then did he reach into another drawer and offer us the change. Totally negative experience. This whole tourist spot is marked by poor service and lousy attitude from the service providers.
