Private Tour in Normandy Half-Day in a Sidecar with Tastings of Normand Cider

3 reviews
Instead of a typical tour bus, explore Normandy in style on a vintage motorcycle sidecar. With a guide, you'll travel through the countryside to learn about Normandy's production of cider, known as "calvados." Stop for tastings, visit the village of Beuvron-En-Auge, and admire views of the scenery in this French region northwest of Paris. Booking this tour saves you the stress of car rental so you can enjoy a relaxing experience, great for those short on time.

Visited on a Thursday night during September. The casino itself was not particularly busy, but not quiet either. The building itself is worth the visit alone though! The interior decor is stunning. All the staff from the bar staff and security to the croupiers and cashiers were all friendly and helpful and even explained how some of the more complex machines and games worked. The games on offer ranged from a wide selection of fruit (slot) machines and video roulette to poker and table games. The bar had a good range of drinks including cocktails all at reasonable prices. Make sure to bring your ID if you want to go onto the gaming floor, but if you only want to use the bar or restaurant this isn't necessary. Dress code is casual.

This place is very excellent for organising a small (100-150 people) conference. The lecture room has nice atmosphere. Poster session can't be too big ,because of space restrictions. The food was delicious and very well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Limited machines, sad ambience, mainly for retired residents. Don't forget you ID to enter. Would not recommend for an afternoon of fun.

The Casino de Cabourg is a very imposing building with lots going on. However, my wife and I also found it a very relaxing spot for a drink and to be able to take in the sea views. The bar offers a very good range of drinks, with promt service. Nice place to stop - worth a visit
