We were lucky to be able to visit it, very impressive because very very large, very beautiful architecture, it must be incredible to see a match in this full stadium

Good venue - good parking - friendly staff. Food options could be better - only choices were baguettes.

We have been to this venue 3 times, it makes a real change to visit a sporting venue that someone designed to be accessed by car. Book a parking space online, drive straight in and out, no hassle.
Great atmosphere inside, prices are reasonable

This is a perfect example of the new generation of modern European football stadiums. This stadium replaced the former Lille stadium and will be a top venue when France will welcome the 2016 European Championships. The stadium is located just outside Lille and can be entered by car and public transportation. If you arrive by car, there are several parking blocks located within a few minutes walking around the stadium. These parking lots can be booked online, but please be aware that you will not be the only spectator who will have opted for these parking places. So maybe you will chose the new metro stations which are approximately 10 minutes by foot. One must admit that the metro system provides a high service at a 2.2 euro fixed price (return ticket).

The stadium itself is more like a steel-concrete construction, with wide angles and comfortable seats. The roof can be closed, which was extremely interesting when we visited the Lille – Montpellier game on December 22, 2012. Not only does it improve the game, it also blocks all the wind.

Definitely the example of a modern multifunctional sports stadium!

Awesome Experience in a 1st class Modern venue. If you are an American and you want to see what the deal is about European Football, then this is the place to go. Enthusiastic and Loud Crowd minus the Hooliganism. Price is very reasonable and much cheaper than a NFL game, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The LOSC is a team on the rise in Ligue 1 (French version of The Premier League). I paid extra for a ticket in the Fan Bar AXE and it was well worth it (50E and Food and Drinks are within feet of your seats).

Usually only half full, European ties and PSG/Marseille apart, so you can get in for about twenty euros.
A tip, the beer is not very alcoholic so don't bother.

The Lille stadium is well worth a visit, as it is a perfect size for club football-about 50,000. The SPM has a sliding roof and the pitch can be moved to allow for other events, such as David Cup tennis. You can reach the stadium on the local metro system and Lille itself has excellent links to other cities/countries, via the Lille Europe or Flanders stations. In fact with an afternoon kick off, you could do a day trip via the Eurostar to a Lille match!

I wanted to go and see Lille stadium and did so on last day of visit to Lille. We went on metro to end of line in automated train. After getting off we looked for signs and it showed a 12 minute walk to stadium. This was a walking through Lille University . Once at stadium unfortunately it was closed and I was only able to see outside. From what I saw was very modern and clean with plenty of car parking

Here to see roger waters great gig but just getting in was difficult enough. The queues were slow and long with not a lot of direction, staff checking tickets to ensure your in the right line were just located in the centre of the "scrum" once in the delay meant no time to get a drink they bring the shutters down regardless when the gig starts. a interval of 20 minutes and again unable to get a drink as the queues long and slow and again the shutters come down, the problem seems to be that each of the food concessions appear to have only have 1 beer tap each. Otherwise a nice looking stadium, seating ok views good.

great stadium with a good atmosphere and good facilities

only a couple of things to bear in mind if travelling by car
- the signposting to the carparks is a little confusing so make sure you have a map and a navigator rather than just relying on a gps
- book a parking space in advance - its worth the planning for a hassle free arrival
- get there earlier rather than later so you can get park near the car park exit / on ground or lower floors - after the match the car parks empty very slowly and from the ground up
