This is a one-of-a-kind museum of fine arts, with regular high quality special exhibitions. Lots of XIXth century art, of lesser known artists, but a great ensemble in a beautiful setting.

A sensitively restore architectural gem housing an interesting collection of textiles and art works. Lovely tea rooms, also art deco in style. I would have liked to see a little more on the history of the piscine itself, perhaps more photographs and a little bit on Roubaix's textile industry in the past. Otherwise, an interesting and unique place to visit.

This is an exceptional, unique museum and art gallery, well worth the trip on the metro or tram. A beautiful building with some great works of art.Only negative was that we found the audio guide a bit confusing to start with.

I reviewed Musée La Piscine a few years ago, this is my third visit. It's the building that I come to see and I also enjoy the textiles and costumes. As I was on a day trip to Lille I didn't have time to look around the museum. I was charged for the exhibitions which I didn't want to see,... More

Fabulous architecture; paintings of every genre to delight; fabrics; ceramics and then a restaurant with great food. It was just wonderful to spend some hours there. For those who appreciate art in its many forms this La Piscine is not to be missed. I would suggest you get there early and if eating, get to the dining room early too;... More

this former bath house and swimming pool of the 1920's has been turned into a well organised art museum. The old infrastructure of the bath house still stands but has been reused to present a collection of contemporary art. Several works of Camille Claudel, lover and pupil of Auguste Rodin. The combination between functional structures and nice art is worth... More

This (sort of) hidden gem is a must for art lovers: from the architecture to the amazingly picked works on the exhibitions, this place is definitely worth a long visit. Unmissable!

Visited Lille on a day trip in February and returned in May specifically to visit this beautiful museum and art gallery housed in an art deco swimming pool. It is as stunning as all the photos suggest. Certainly worth the trip. Gorgeous and special.
