Millau has few cultural attractions, great collection of pottery, however could do with a better food offering. It is however not open on Sundays.

We called in initially to see the special Hundertwasser exhibition which was well presented but were then enthralled by the excellent history of glove making. The museum makes the most of a beautiful building

Interesting and well laid out displays of pre history in the basement and an excellent section on the history of glove making in Millau upstairs. The latter is well worth visiting.

The museum contains a lot of information about the local glove industry. Millau used to export gloves to the USA and around the world. Allow an hour at least for this interesting museum.

We enjoyed this museum and learnt how it the area supplied all the Roman Empire with pottery. Despite the time of year it was not very busy and the pottery amazing.

The museum don't talk about the Millau bridge. To have any informations about the Millau bridge, there is Aire du Viaduc.
