If you're in the area, well worth a visit. We skipped the film show and just looked around the museum/exhibits and of course tasted the cheeses. If your in Laguiole it's worthwhile, perhaps not worth a special trip for though.
The village is very small and the main three activities are knives manufacturing, meat producing and... cheese producing therefore no reason to avoid this one unless you are milk allergenic... the visit in nonetheless providing valuable information.
