This was one of the most amazing experiences, sitting in the hot spa outside with snow falling, and the mountains all around! A must-do, especially to ease your aching muscles after a day/week of skiing.
There is a large indoor area with various bubbles and jets, a very hot pool and a kids area, and an outdoor spa pool (accessed from inside within the water so you don’t get cold) with different zones for relaxation, jacuzzis, river etc. It was great to be able to go somewhere like this as a family and my children (9 and 4) absolutely loved it too.
It’s quite expensive, and you get only 2 hours to include changing, showers etc, but totally worth it.
If you are an adult skier you can add it to your ski pass for the day for an extra €11 which is a great saving.
Bring waterproof flip-flops and towels, and no shorts for men - standard in France.

What a great spa - pools inside & outside. Both great, but loved the outside ones in particular. You swim from the inside to the outside which is a bit of a novelty ! Lots of great jets in both pools to help ease the aches & pains after a day hiking or cycling.

Cost for 2 hours is €18.50 We had our own towels & flip flops, so you would pay more if you don’t bring these along. There is also a sauna & a hammam. The hammam has a lovely menthol smell. We felt two hours was the perfect length of time to enjoy this spa at a relaxed pace.

We have been to the Aquensis spa in Bagnéres de Bigorre & whilst we enjoyed the experience, felt this spa is just a little bit nicer & more enjoyable.

An important point to note for men is that you must wear Speedo type swimming togs.

Our two sons went up to the baths one afternoon paid their 20 Euros each, showered and went to get in the pool. They were prevented from doing so by an attendant who said they couldn't go in because they were wearing swimming trunks and only "speedo" type trunks were allowed.

They were not made aware of this when their money was taken nonetheless they apologised and the attendant said if they went back to the desk they would get their entrance money back.

When they went back to the desk an officious woman pointed to a notice which apparently said only "speedo" trunks were allowed and as they could anyway buy speedos at the baths if they wanted they could not have their money back. They said that they did not want to spend further money on speedo trunks and as they hadn't been allowed into the facility they wanted their money back. She still steadfastly refused to rebate any money and exasperated our sons left.

We doubt very much if they had been French if they would have been refused a refund. Obviously rebates weren't unheard of or why did the attendant say they would get one. The woman just took advantage of the fact our sons were foreign to effectively cheat them out of their money.

There are other options we suggest you check those out.

We bought the tickets together with the sky day at Cauterets. They didn't mentioned the rules about the specific style of wet suits for men. The only option was to buy wet suits for 10€, otherwise all our friends couldn't enter.
We haven't received our money back and their service has been nasty.

Bad service, not nice at all at the entrance.

We visited on a slightly rainy day. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. We had to buy flip flops which makes sense. No-one wants some foot disease! We stayed for about 1.5 hrs, started to get a little bored. There is only 3 pools, 2 indoor and outdoor. The views are beautiful outside. We did find the pools a little cold at 33 degrees, the other very small inside pool at 38 was nice. It is clean and well organised. Would recommend if the weather isn’t good for walking. Sebastian was very friendly and helpful.

I think this spa is a bit underrated on TA, at least I was positively surprised. I visited it on weekend at the end of the day and it was not very crowded despite it's relatively small. Unpretentious but very well designed. Plenty of parking available nearby. The facility is modern, from lockers to saunas, very clean, and there are both inside and outside swimming pools with nearly all imaginable types of water jets and whirlpools and jacuzzi available. Whirlpool beds in the outside pool seem most popular with visitors, buts various underwater jets inside are fun too. And finally, don't miss saunas and steam bath on the 1st floor.

Overall perfect place to relax after full day of hiking to Pont d'Espagne and Lac de Gaube.

I spent 4 days in the area and visited 3 different SPAs - this one, Luzea in Luz St Sauveur and famous Aquensis. Bains du Rocher was definitely the best one!

I arrived in Cauterets to horrible weather. My hotel concierge suggested going to Les Bains du Rocher. I didn't have a swim suit or flip flops but was able to purchase ones reasonably. The staff were wonderful explaining everything to me. I loved my 2 hours in the pools and sauna. Will definitely go back after skiing later this week!

After three days of cycling in the Pyrenees (Tourmalet, Aubisque, Luz Ardiden), we were ready for a break and found the perfect spot at Les Bains de Rocher in Cauterets. While one friend had a massage (“perfect”), two of us swam in the thermal pools, self-massaged under powerful jets, watched the end of an aqua-exercise class, then took a sauna and finally relaxed under blankets in the quiet room. We met up on the terrace where a charming young man served us smoothies as we looked past hanging flower baskets to the mountains. A lovely afternoon. The facility is spotless, spa-like, and reasonably priced. And the staff is out-going and happy to answer questions. I recommend this place for both men and women.

I visited this particular Spa a few times through the year.
The friendly staff quickly direct you and then you have two hours of all types of water "fun" From water jets massaging your muscles to a sauna and steam room. Many other activities, fitness and water aerobics to massages / face and body care and much more.
The main component is two pools, each with various water jets and streams - hot and cold to soothe sore muscles. Seat and beds, jacuzzis and more. All have water and bubble jets - at various heights and positions. The Spa uses natural hot spring water which are winter and summer at about 33C. The one pool is indoors while the other is situated outside, overlooking the beautiful Cauterets and towering mountains.
A small hot (38C) bath and a shallow one for the young (33C).
There is also a Spa Cafe that can be reach from within the Spa area - or for just the one who want to relax and drink a coffee or juice - beer or wine.
Only certain bathing costumes are allowed and so are footware. Find out before going - OR buy for a small fee the correct attire at the front desk - Sandals/swimming trunks ( you keep) and towel for about 13Euro.
