Airbus is a key competitor of Boeing and the visit was excellent. We were introduced to the certification tests a new airplane has to undergo to get approval to fly, then visited a maintensnce hall of Airbus airplanes and, in the museum, could explore the history of flight, how it all started, including aircraft like the A400M, the Concorde and the Catavelle, to just name a few

Booked as part of birthday treat/trip for family (for our youngest). With the current covid the two tour options seemed to have been merged into one derivative. Website a little light on detail. Alas, the walk down the production line etc had been pulled and it was reduced to really a bus tour around some of the site. 1.5 hours in length and probably could have been about an hour without 'padding'. That said, nicely done under the circumstances and people still enjoyed the tour. Our family is somewhat into the aerospace world so nice to do. Guide was good, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Got to go inside an A400M as part of the tour. TBH it was nice to be able to get out and visit somewhere again!

Wasn't sure what to expect from this as had seen a few different reviews. Was not disappointed at all. Was under booked with only 7 people on our tour (we took up 5 spaces) had a very friendly coach driver and guide. The tour takes you around the airport and identifies all of the Airbus buildings and provides information about what goes on in them. We were lucky enough to see an A350 roll out and the 3 parts of the fuselage coming in. Also the Beluga aircraft taking off while another landed. Tour was very informative and a must for any enthusiast.

Airbus has more than 28,000 employees in the Toulouse area , manufactures upto 800 commercial aircraft each year , and has manufacturing and assembly works scattered around . A visit to the works is worthwhile , a bit like a “ big boys Airfix kit “ with parts manufactured in Spain ,Germany , the UK and France before traveling by road , rail , ship and canal to be slotted together in Toulouse . However , since photos are not allowed inside the works area , you have to rely on your memories ...

We were visiting as a professional aviators who are well avare of almost all of the history of Airbus. It is still amazing to see such improvements in such a short period of time if you consider the existence of human being.
