On the edge of Ceret, adjacent to a modern road and railway bridge, the pont du diable is a lovely structure spanning the river. The best view is from the new road bridge

Impressive original bridge with a good span over the river below - now a footbridge - with a newish road bridge and older disused rail bridge close by. The rail bridge has been repointed and restored.

Well worth a visit, for its sensational views down the river, and close proximity to excellent fruit stalls, selling much better stuff than the local supermarkets.

When entering Ceret from the A9 direction, you cross one of 3 bridges and can admire this bridge on your left. Great stories behind it and well worth stopping to admire it!

A fascinating part of the history of Ceret. The bridge is lovely to look at and has been beautifully decorated with flower troughs.

As you may have guessed this is indeed a bridge, however there are some great photo opportunities and there is an interesting story behind it so worth a look if you are passing but I wouldn't suggest making a journey of any length to see...More

We were last in Ceret in 2013 - almost to the day! Anyway, again we were there for the markets and this time managed to take some photos! Interesting story about the bridge and the devil 'booting' the bricks out the night it was completed.
