For many years, if you were lucky, there would be the chance of attending one of the amazing concerts in this perfect milieu, ofter with talented local musicians, and others with strong local connections. Unmissable!

A historical hermitage perched on a knoll above Ceret, it offers spectacular views, picnic spots, contemplative space both in the small but beautiful chapel and on the grounds. Really, worth the drive and some park below on a lot and then walk up the steep...More

We parked at the Ermitage and followed a walk around the area which was very pleasant. The views over the surrounding countryside were outstanding. When we returned the chapel was open for us to look around. A very nice hot sunny day.

Worth the short trip up on a clear day for the views. On the day we visited , a Monday in March, we were the only visitors. It is a very tranquil spot ideal for a well earned rest with a good book.

Perched on a hilltop in the shadows of Pic Canigou, the hermitage is worth the effort to climb. The walk up is not arduous and it is possible to reach it by car. Ceret is visible below and Canigou into the distance. It is worth...More

A small chapel, wonderful views across the plain of the rousillon. Not much to see, but an excellent place for quiet contemplation or a picnic. Occasionally there are concerts to be enjoyed - the acoustics are good for choirs. Plenty of shady parking.

The walk from Devils Bridge up to the Hermitage is fantastic, with many stopping points commanding panoramic views of Vallespir with its forests and cultivated cherry orchards. The hermitage itself is closed but the chapel adjoining is very atmospheric with many paintings and much art...More

We are biased as we live just beneath this beautiful spot. During the day we offer walks and views that can be stunning. During the evenings at the weekends in summer, we have concerts ranging from trio's, quartets to wonderful orchestral or singing solo's. The...More

This small chapel is set on a hill just a few kilometres outside Ceret. On a sunny day, we could see for miles around - views over the town, towards Mt Canigou and almost as far as the Mediterranean sea. It's silent, isolated, a great...More

Picturesque site and great starting place for walks with views. It is not always open, but very special inside.
