The peace and calm of this building is truly inspirational. The windows are very decorative with religious symbols and you must climb the 164 steps ( counted) up the bell tower. The views from the top are inspiring.

We always take visiting friends to see this cathedral. Although the building itself is not spectacular, it is interesting as are the cloisters and the Bishops's garden. The views over the valley and the river are however spectacular and absolutely worth the walk.

Lovely history, dark interiors but lovely evening light. Lots of pictures and icons. 12 plaques of Jesus crucifixion are lovely carvings. When we visited, a young couple were preparing for their wedding

Nice cathedral, and free to enter (all the Catholic cathedrals in Italy charge, maybe France is more laid back). The climb up the bell tower is worth it. The friendly man working there made us welcome and went off to get us the English guide...More

The cathedral closes around midday and reopens at 2.30pm so check times. We arrived at 1.30 but we're not disappointed because from the outside at ground level the cathedral is imposing with its enormous thick strong walls. There are spectacular views over the valley and...More

A beautiful cathédrale worth the short walk up to the top of the hill... 'twas unfortunately closed by the time we got there though :( so we didn't get a chance to go inside. Too bad the opening hours aren't different on weekends.

A beautiful gothic cathedral. Be sure not to miss the gothic cloister and the bishop's garden, which are in a door to the right of the main entrance
