About
Combining the blue of Mediterranean sea and the green of the Alberes, located 5 minutes from the Argeles beach, Valmy Eagles Park is and has been an unforgettable since 1996. The world of birds and their fragile environment won’t leave you untouched Our birds’ free flight on a background music will fill you with emotions and awe. Our eagles, kites, buzzards, vultures, owls, white storks, parrots, ravens, as well as our other residents will amaze you, touching you with their wings as they fly by you… More than hundreds individuals are to be met and encountered. During our long shows, our falconers will offer rewarding and entertaining commentary (in French) and will share with you the customs and habits of our residents. Come with the whole family to meet these wonderful and mysterious creatures! For the bravest and daring, we recommend our falconry training morning sessions! Don’t forget your camera! You may be lucky and get to carry a bird of prey during a show!

Fantastic show with lots of information(only french)
Aug 2019 • Couples
On top of a hill looking out to sea and argeles, a stunning view worth the visit just for that. The show was impressive with lots of birds, especially the big vultures just flying over your head. You can tell the team loves the birds 👍👍👍👍

too much money for what is shown
Aug 2017 • Family
we expected a nice venue, but this place is so worn out, cages are almost falling apart. Don't spend your money here. Shows are not spectacular, not all kids get a chance of getting close to a bird. Stay away.

Visit to Les Aigles de Valmy
May 2017
Initial impressions from website where great. Unhelpful reception. Many birds and animals in small spaces and some didnt look very well (wild bore being the main issue). Looked tired and under invested. Bird show was good and interaction with audience excellent. The bird show started 90 mins before scheduled on their website so it was lucky for us we arrived early!

There are better things to do and spend money on (or save it).

Motivated eagles trainers showing and explaining
Jul 2016 • Couples
It's a recovery for different types of birds (hawks, eagles, but also parrots) you can see in their cages in a small park, but you can also see "at work" performing different exercises as requested by their trainers, that explain their peculiarities and behaviour in nature (all birds here were actually born in captivity)

The eagles and other birds of prey were great. The handlers very friendly and gave the children a chance to handle some of the birds. It was fun.

Great show
Jul 2016 • Family
About an hour of interesting display of birds. Able to walk around to see other Barnyard animals, good outing for small kids. Tip: the red train will make an exceptional stop at round-point de valmy and then you can walk up the hill about 15 minutes - really not bad if you are up for a walk and have no car.

Afternoon show with the eagles
Jun 2016 • Family
The show was well done and fun for the kids. They emphasises the pedagogic aspect and provide information about the different birds and their behaviour. The staff is very friendly and nice with their birds. The show duration is around one hour and is a little long if you have very small children. You should understand french to enjoy the explanations.

After the show you can visit the cages, feed the donkeys and visit the parc de Valmy.

The 'birds' were fabulous. They look healthy and happy.
The are cheaky also, if you allow the personification!
Wonderful presentation and good funny times.
It's a must do if you're around!

Bird display
Aug 2015 • Family
Very good display of Falconry. Fascinating for Children too, in the lovely gardens of Chateau Valmy. Ideal to take a picnic there and enjoy the panoramic views .Pitty the commentary was not in any language other than French. There is ample parking, even in high season. Some weddings take place in the Chateau, and observing the wedding 'procession' arrive was an added bonus on one of our visits.
