Quiet park with nice view over Paris
Mar 2021 • Family
A nice quiet park with a playground for little children and a terrace with a very nice view at the city of Paris. The main entrance is next to the Chateau. There is a small restaurant for a drink or a little bite. An enjoyable place!

Great view across to Eiffel Tower and La Defense
Jun 2019 • Couples
Beautiful walk along the terrace offers views of the Eiffel Tower and La Defense about 15 kms away. The trees offered welcome shade and the planting of the flower beds was so colourful. Don't forget to have a look at the small sign announcing the birthplace of Louis XIV on the gable end of the Henry IV hotel. The golden berceau (cradle) is beautiful. Great explanation in English and French of the building and plan of the original chateau. Search out the little vineyard near the belvedere which is maintained by students. There is a cafe in the park near the chateau but on the day we visited, loud music blaring close to the cafe persuaded us to have our coffee elsewhere!

Lovely Trees for a Walk
Jun 2019 • Couples
This is the park adjacent to the Chateau de Saint-Germain. There is a spectacular view of Paris from the end overlooking the Seine River. Definitely worth a look.

Beautiful park!
Apr 2019 • Friends
I walked around that park for about 3 hours. It is beautiful with the backdrop of the forest and the chateau. Lots of children were playing, bikers, runners, and the elderly going for a stroll.

Perfect to have a break from the busy city
Mar 2019 • Friends
If you want to take the air while staying near the capital,
Take the rer A and this park will do the rest.
It is perfect to chill under the sun with a great view.
Then wander in the street of the city and you ll feel like you are miles from Paris.

Perfect lazy afternoon
Feb 2019 • Family
What an amenity to have! The park is huge and perfect for a lazy sunday stroll and a picnic! Or for your morning run... Or to bring the children to the playground... Or to read a book in the fresh air and people watch... A great place to recover from the hustle and bustle of Paris on a nice sunny day!

The parc is a great place to have a picnic, let your children run around freely, view Paris, walk through the English garden, the forest and a look at the chateau. Highly recommended visit.

This Parc is absolutely great
Nov 2018 • Solo
I walk in this parc several times per week and every single time it procures me the feeling of greatness. The views on the Château and Paris, the space and well maintained areas are overwhelming and allow to find inner peace when you need it. Always secure, not too many people. Even a few places where you can have a coffee or a beer when it is hot, the parc has all you need to spend a good time, be it a full day in the summer or a shorter walk during the other seasons. It is a real privilege to live so close to the Parc and it is one of the reasons why I would not like to live somewhere else. Thank you whoever decided the design of the parc and the cut of the trees , I hope the Parc will stay there forever and will not change too much with the change in demographics.
