Surfacing from the métro station we felt quite disorientated. We were eventually pointed in the right direction by kind strangers, but the whole “get there” experience felt a bit surreal.
The Bartabas presentation of the Mozart Requiem was quirky but enjoyable.
However, we felt that at €100 a head the slippery wooden seats, with minuscule armrests, were sub-standard.
All in all, a mediocre experience.

I went to Afropunk festival, and for that kind of event this venue doesn't work at all. This is a concert hall with nothing green around it. There was only a tiny front yard where the merchandise and food stalls were. There was no places where to hang and eat your food, or relax between gigs. Just a small concrete yard.

Went to see West Side Story, in the main concert hall. The show was great, but for 75€ I would expect to sit on something more comfortable than wooden chairs. The way the room is set up if you need translation you will either look at the translation close to ceiling or at the scene. The seats are very hard - i was happy to have a warm jacket to sit on it.

Visited for the Alice Cooper concert and spent some time looking about the site and facilities. For a mid sized venue holding around 5000 on the night I found it better than most.
Lovely little lounge bar with pictures and memorabilia from a whole range of well known and not so well known acts of the past. Loved browsing while I had swine. Also lovely to sit out watching the world go by from the middle of the Siene.
Would be delighted to return one day and potentially to the other hall as it looks very interesting.

Went to see Usher at this venue and it was great. Just the right size so you could enjoy the concert. Acoustics were good and we got great seats. It’s about a 30 minute drive from
Paris. It was an amazing time❤️

We had a great time at the performance we saw here - Stravinsky's Rites of Spring performed by a live orchestra with the Versailles equestrian academy horses and riders, a dance group from India, a choir and an aerialist. Yikes! However the building itself is just as much of a show. It is a giant glass bubble on the end of an island in the Seine in the west suburb of Paris. It only dates from 2017, so it is a new addition to the entertainment scene in Paris. Easy to get to with the metro, and lots of signs point the way from there. Because it is all reflective glass, it is fun to come for an evening performance as the light is changing. Easy to get tickets online, including choosing your seats. I picked up our tickets at a fnac during the day at a kiosk where you enter the confirmation code and it prints your tickets with no need to wait in line there or at the will call at the venue.

As already written I've been in hundreds of concert venues all over the world. This week I went to this rather new (2017) concerthall for a sold out concert. We walked from our hotel in Issy a 20min stroll along the river. The modern architecture and setting on the island alone is worth a visit. It has a rooftop garden,. Well organised entry and security check by friendly staff. Once entered choice in several bars and restaurants and even a somewhat posh coctailbar.
The hall itself can have about 6500 persons and the stage is spread in a U shape over the with of the space so everybody standing or sitting has a excellent view on the stage. Sound was excellent thanks to the taken sound isolation messures. We'll be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed Bartabas. 50 musicans and a choir with opera singers of just under 150 people. Mozart's requiem only lasts for one hour which I hadn't appreciated when I'd booked the tickets but it's a show I'll never forget. There were up to 10 horses and it's the horses with the riders that are doing the ballet. I think there were about 4000 people in the room but it didn't feel crowded. The seats were easily accessible. Definitely a top quality show.

This a great venue. Easily assessable. A few places to stop and eat just near. The acoustics are great. Volume doesn’t have to be blasted to actually hear. The chairs are well placed although not the most comfortable. The concessions are way over priced and I recommend NOT getting the pretzels.

Bonjour,
Je ne comprends pas le plan de la seine musicale pour Starmania : quelles sont les meilleures places (c'est à dire les plus proches et les plus centrales après les "carré or parterre") :
- les "carré Or tribune" ?
- ou les "carré Or gradin" ?
Merci de votre aide
