About
At dawn or at dusk, we lift near the most interesting castles of Loir-et-Cher (Chenonceau, Amboise, Chaumont-sur-Loire, Blois), depending on the seasons, at the time when the light is most beautiful. The lift takes place only if there are good weather conditions (no rain and wind at less than 20 km/h).Our activity lasts three hours : unpack and inflate the balloon, one hour flight, landing and return to the original lift site. If you desire, you may take part in the preparation of the balloon, which is always an exciting and surprising experience.At the landing, the passengers are always very happy; they are charmed by this wonderful escapade. As you embark thrilled by such a pleasant journey and because such happiness should never be celebrated alone, a flute glass of "Pétillant de Loire" and a certificate are presented by the pilot and his crew just to comfirm frienship

BUCKET LIST MUST!

We took our flight from Chaumont-sur-Loire……late on a Friday afternoon. Federico was our pilot and he did an outstanding job. There were 16 people in our large basket and we were not crowded at all. It was very smooth and calm….no anxious moments or ever any reason to doubt Federico’s ability to land us perfectly, which he did. It was well worth the cost from beginning to end!…..lasted about an hour…..fascinating to watch them unload the balloons and get them ready!

We had the perfect experience, can’t recommend it highly enough. Great team, such a brilliant and experienced pilot it all went perfectly. Awesome views, amazing ballon control and just great people. Just do it.

A trip I will never forget

Truly magical. I enjoyed learning the mechanics of getting a hot-air balloon up into the air; indeed, I was enlisted to help get the balloon inflated. But the flight itself was one of the highlights of our summer through Europe. The Château de Chenonceau from the air was truly extraordinary. But the remainder of the trip was equally magical -- fields of grain with deer running through them, skimming over wooded hills, church bells in the distance, the sun setting behind us. Our pilot was both highly competent and delightful. Don't miss it.

Perfect from A to Z

What a wonderful experience! Everything was well organised and on time (overall experience lasted 2 1/2 hours). Pilot was really friendly as were the rest of the aerocom staff. It is such a lovely way to experience the castles of the Loire Valley, stunning views and it is soooo calm up in the sky! We took off in Amboise and also got to see Chenonceau. The flight lasted an hour as expected and after a very gentle landing we were given our certificates and a glass of local wine.
I had read a lot of reviews about different hot air balloon companies in the area some of which weren't very reassuring but really glad we went with aerocom because it was faultless and very safe and professional. Would love to be able to do it all over again! Thank you :)

Balloon ride over Loire Valley

We have wanted to take a balloon ride for years and are so thrilled we waited until we were in such a beautiful location. There's no guarantee what you will see as you go where the wind takes you, but everything there has beauty. Aerocom staff were extremely professional and we never felt unsafe. There equipment is in excellent shape. They offer several options, are priced more reasonably than any of the other company and are the only company who doesn't charge until you actually fly! Huge plus in their favor. No need to look further than this company.

Wonderful company, professional from the very first phone call to the end. They arrived promptly at the arranged pick-up location. And when it rained on our originally scheduled flight date, they worked hard to accommodate us on another flight date. I highly recommend this company!

Very Nice Flight

It was the 1st time we tried this & it was fun; Flights are very unpredictable: by that I mean if there is too much wind, it might be cancelled, and one has to follow the wind direction !
This means to fly over the Loire Valley Castles one needs to be VERY lucky ! all depends from where u start: say if from Amboise with winds South to North... u end-up by a Highway and have seen the countryside !
But Aerocom has nothing to do with that: there service is great & they are very nice; Their pick-up van will follow & bring u back to where u started;
Better wear boots or sneakers, because flights ends in wild fields, which could be muddy !

A hot air balloon ride has been on my bucket list for ages. We chose Aerocom from a recommendation by the tour book of Rick Steves. A very professional group of 3 people brought the balloon to the take off site and my husband helped with getting it to "ready to take off" status.
Frederick was a great pilot and explained and translated a lot of the procedures to us in English on our flight. The landing was very gentle and the 2 jeeps were there to pick us up shortly after. All in all it was a once in a lifetime experience for us. I noticed a couple upon landing that were looking for the crew as they wanted to give them a tip but they were gone very fast. I would certainly recommend this company.

What a ride!

BE PREPARED FOR A ROUGH LANDING! (true to every balloon ride in this area)
If you have a bad back , do not try any of these rides! (you are basically horizontal when you land and you hit the ground a couple of times).
It takes about 3 hours, no restrooms (Activity is outdoors of course)
We came for the evening takeoff. All preparations were made via email. On the day itself we called them (you have to ) and found out that the takeoff position has changed, not very comfortable , but not a real problem. We arrived at the pick up spot and from there taken by jeeps to the takeoff area. It's fun to assemble the balloon and see it inflated. The ride itself is calm and quiet like nothing you have experienced (well, perhaps scuba diving) and is really really amazing. These guys are pros and very experienced, they take care of business.
Once in a lifetime fun ride!

We went on a shared hot air balloon ride leaving from Chenonceau in September 2019 and it was PERFECT. The company is very professional, and we had an amazing time. Highly recommended.
