We visited here in April before the busy tourist season. It was so interesting to learn all about the oyster growing, harvesting, processing and selling process. We followed our tour with a feast of every imaginable shellfish, plus sea bass and cuttlefish (not our fav).

Very interesting visit. So we heard they export their Oysters even as far as to Dubai! They should be consumed within 4 days. Their top season is the Christmas - New Year period. We were astonished how many oysters they deliver. I don't remember the quantity, but it is enormous. One small deception : when seeing so many oysters and hearing... More

In just one hour visitors get a very informative explanation, video and visit of an active oyster company. Our guide was very enthusiastic and explained everything very well. There are tours in French, English and German, see website for details. There was no commercial intent, since they do not sell oysters to the visitors. There is also a small museum... More

We've been meaning to visit every year but somehow times have never matched until today when we enjoyed an excellent tour and talk. It's a tough job working on the oyster beds and I hadn't realised just how much work goes into producing them. The visit takes about an hour but is well worth the time. Tours in English, Dutch... The French master the art of making the simple and trivial seem wold class. This is also the case with oister farming. It is nevertheless interesting. No free samples though!

A small but very informative and interesting museum. A short and concise video introduction to the history. A guided walk in the packaging plant. All you need to know to understand this fascinating place.

My wife and I love oysters and decided that a visit to an oyster farm would be fun and informative and that we would enjoy the opportunity to taste the difference between the two main types of oysters grown in the area: plates and cruises. The tour (for which admission for the two of us was 15 euros) was only... More
