Just love Sarlat and the market is brilliant. Such a great quaint and ancient town. So much going on with street artists, cafés, restaurants, open air shows.

We stayed for a few weeks not far from sarlat. We enjoyed the markets so much that we went a few times. It was a wonderful place to stroll, look, eat and just soak up the atmosphere.

The best day market is saturday from 8.30 am to 6 pm in the city centre. Other so good is the Covered Market (all year long) at Sainte Marie Church – Place de la Liberté.
